The Anza-a Calabasas Hotel

The room was very clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely accommodating. We were in town due to a family emergency - staff was able to add another room for relatives arriving short notice. I was also able to secure a room to move my sister over - this hotel was much nicer than the one she was in and she saved a bit each night. The location is great and I will absolutely stay there again.

Available parking on site is not great - having arrived late in the evening and then there are no spaces available was disappointing - a female, alone, having to park across the street in an empty/unsecured lot after midnight. There should be a better way to manage the parking, perhaps having someone at the other lot to ensure guests are safe.

One of the nicest rooms we have even stayed in. Right on the 101 but so quiet.

Stair access could be easier.

There are no shower doors! Just a half glass panel - makes for a a cold shower experience and the water gets all over the floor in the bathroom. Also for two guests there was only one bath towel each - should have two each. Also our room wasn’t ready for check in at 6:00 pm!

Location was good. Room was spacious and comfy.

I used to frequent this hotel when it was first remodeled. It was very nice and the pool area with cabanas/covered seating was one of my favorite amenities. This time around, it seems the hotel is not kept up as well. The TV wasn’t working when we arrived but they did send someone to repair it fairly quickly. Much to my surprise, no pool. Not sure if it was being repaired or removed. It would have been nice if the front desk informed us of this when we checked in.
