This is the best place to stay in Sedona!

My wife and I love Cedars Resort! We have stayed in Sedona for our anniversary probably around a dozen times and have stayed at several places around town and Cedars is the one we always stay at now. It is a great location, excellent rooms, great views and the prices are always affordable. And the staff is always helpful and friendly. Best place to stay in town in our humble opinions.

There is absolutely nothing that we don't like about Cedars.

Great location for good value.

I liked the location. It is in uptown Sedona which is the center of everything - restaurants, shops, tour companies, etc. Also the price is good value for Sedona.

I didn’t like it was right next to the highway where anyone could walk to my doors. I didn’t feel safe as a solo traveler despite locals told me it was safe there. Also there was no breakfast for purchase so that option could be nicer.

Great value and great views in Sedona.

Excellent value in Sedona! Get one of the rooms with a view and enjoy the hot tub and pool. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are a bit small and there aren’t many frills but it is basically 1/2 price for rooms with comparable views. We stayed down the hill for 4x the cost later in the same trip and the service wasn’t better and we didn’t have a view. I would have rather been at cedars the whole time.

Had a little trouble at check in but the staff eventually figured it out.

Perfect location for a stay in Sedona

We stayed 3 nights in November. Perfect location in town for walking to all the restaurants and shops, but also located with an amazing view of the landscape. Parking was great, room was comfortable with balcony. Very happy

Disappointing

The view from the room is lovely and the room clean and comfortable. It's in a good location

The resort advertises flat screen TV and cable. Most stations were scrambled during our 2 night visit or unavailable. We brought this to the attention of staff members on 3 consecutive days and only one tried to resolve the problem. The others made excuses that the weather was bad causing the problem with the WiFi, or that this is "Sedona". The WiFi worked and a hotel up the road had no problem with their cable TV. When we contacted management for a small rebate, they said we had no proof that we had spoken to staff about this, even though we could describe them. It is not a cheap place to stay and we expected what was advertised. The staff were not helpful and we would not stay here again as a result.

Excellent location. The sunset view is better a short walk north of the hotel then at the crowded airport mesa! Can walk to restaurants and shopping. Clean facilities. Responsive staff.

Beds were a bit springy. No sink in the bathroom (there was just one outside) the toilet. Thus is not really a real resort, more like a motel.

The shower had no water pressure. The TV channels are very limited and there was no guide. It would be helpful if they had streaming services. The minimart in the lobby had very limited items and was a bit pricey

Beautiful views

The view and location were perfect. The bed was amazing, I wish I could have taken it home. The location is walking distance from a lot of the touristy places.

The fact that there wasn't a microwave. We ended up having to throw our leftovers away because we couldn't reheat them. The room was smaller than expected, but the comfortable bed made up for it.

A terrific Stay

The view of the red rock mountains was incredible from my little balcony. The bed was also extremely comfortable. I could walk to fine restaurants and shops, which was ideal. The staff were helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the view and the size of the room. Leaded glass window in the bathroom was an unexpected surprise. Very nicely maintained room given the apparent age of the property.

No breakfast . Check in was not very informative.. we didn’t know that there was breakfast or coffee available.

There was a roach on a ceiling and many ants or I don’t what it was . I tried calling front desk and of course the phone in room was not working . I told front desk about the insects and phone and she was just looking at me like if I was lying and kept saying ok ok . The worst part was there was no access to the creek which was the whole reason why I rented there . The shower water never got hot and I love my hot water showers .

Beautiful Resort, Convenient Location, Gorgeous View

The room was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the view out the window was gorgeous. It was located in the middle of town, so we were able to walk to places to eat breakfast and dinner. It was very convenient to any extra activities that may have been planned during the stay. I would stay there again.

The showers in each of the rooms vary in size. Our room had a large shower, but my parent's shower was quite small.
