The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The coffee was also nice and strong for breakfast which I loved! Would stay again.

Very luxury feeling rooms, very comfortable beds, huge television very nice bathrooms blow dryers and iron and ironing board. I stayed for almost 2 months for a work contract and loved the way it felt like home.
Sometimes the parking on one side of the motel was tight but plenty of parking elsewhere.

The bathroom was pretty small and the morning coffee was so strong we couldn't drink it. BUT- THE BED WAS SO COMFY! Plenty of pillows, right in downtown. Very nice staff and very clean and quiet! I would stay here again.

Rockin Randy was super kind and friendly. Rockin Randy said the food was available even outside of breakfast time if we needed it. It was most important that we enjoyed ourselves and felt comfortable. Staff were quick to help when the key card malfunctioned ( both desk and janitorial staff).
They are upgrading the breakfast area so they didn't have much protein for breakfast but I saw equipment so that is probably coming when they are done with upgrades.

My late check-in was very easy and comfortable and the incredibly well stocked snack bar was available whenever!! I've never seen so many good snacks as well as fresh fruit available! Huge bed, huge TV good coffee for the Keurig. Great room had everything I needed and I stayed for three days
My only complaint was that parking upfront was very tight and large work trucks were making it impossible to park near my room. I was able to park upfront by the office so really not much to complain about.

The room appears to have been recently updated. I was glad there was no carpet. Very clean!
Breakfast was minimal to say the least. Not a place to sit. Good coffee, but it was all grab and go.

Motels is in process of remodeling. Hard to locate office. Parking lot was dark. Expect it to be better once remodeling is finished

The staff at front desk
The rooms were small and not worth the money

The bed was comfortable.
The noise from other rooms. The shower was very low volume with no adjustment.
The inroom coffee pods were not compatible with the machine and only dispensed slightly colored warm water.
The lobby coffee was better. However , the lids did not attach securely and leaked.
The generally poor signage made it hard to find the lobby at first.
I understand they are under construction and renovating so this would be a concern for children or people with disabilities.
The trains go by so often you won't even notice.

Location was good, but due to construction and one way streets, was a bit annoying to get to.
I had two dogs. I was not told in advance and did not see any notation that pets were an extra cost. That increase the price to a price range where I could have stayed in a more modern motel at approximately the same price.

Great helpful staff and location just right for walking around town.
Tub needs anti-slip strips, very very slippery when when. But other than that ALL GREAT

Well appointed rooms for the price.
Auto access a bit tricky.

It was just a building there wasn’t any trees or grass or any outside stuff to be appealing
9.0 / 10.0
The location was good and the property was accommodating to my requests.
The shower was very difficult to turn on and off. I had to ask the staff to turn it on for me to make sure that I wasn't breaking it by trying to turn it on myself. It was that difficult to use.

Hotel exterior looks older, but rooms have apparently been upgraded. Super clean, wood-grain vinyl plank floors (no musty carpet freshener odor). Completely modern and new bathroom and fixtures, shower head is high enough to accomodate taller people. Beds very comfortable with four pillow each. Wifi works fine. Room included microwave, coffeemaker, fridge (inside cabinet). Also, coffee at the office is very good, by Portland Roasters. Room quiet in spite of being downtown. Front desk attendant friendly and helpful. Great value.
Toilet flushes very slowly. Reported to staff as a potential maintenance item. Otherwise no complaints.

I booked on bookings.com. I booked studio apartment basically for $116. The room we got was nothing like that. The price was about 10 bucks over what I had agreed to pay. It was $105° outside.
The air conditioner worked fine and we simply slept. I was disappointed because we've had wonderful accommodations throughout a two-week trip and this was our last night and the first time I felt ripped off

Are you kidding? Coffee in a shabby temporary officez
The renovation pretty much left us disappointed. We've stayed in the hotel and chose the Inn because of it. Instead you put us in a run down motel.
6.0 / 10.0
It was fine. Decently clean, a bit worn. Looked like a normal motel room with a slightly more updated situation. Close to downtown - well, it IS downtown - and kinda close to one of the riverfront parks.
No fridge in room. View on our side wasn't particularly great. Check in location was a bit confusing and the check in/breakfast office needs a bit of refurbishing, it looked like it was in pretty rough shape.
6.0 / 10.0
The room and bedding was fine.
The office was a crude little room. Breakfast was basically coffee in the same crude little room.

Love the Hotel ! The location is perfect.
3.0 / 10.0
Nothing.
My booking was cancelled by the hotel without my consent and without informing me or Booking. No justification and no apologies. Also, there are renovation works in process which are not stated in the hotel page. The reception is now cramped in a small place and the "breakfast" is merely bread and butter (no place to sit either).

Location
Air conditioner would cool for five minutes then vent outside air for five or ten minutes then cool the result was an overly warm room.

Nothing stands out

Reasonably priced. On the western edge of downtown The Dalles, and downtown has improved dramatically in recent years.
There was no mention online about the massive remodeling going on. Small room. No desk.

Privacy was compromised property and room was dirty. In room phone didn’t work. I couldn’t even call the front desk. When I asked for a turn down, fresh towels , garbage emptied, when I returned to my room 8 hours later I found my door propped open. I came to the dalles to help someone on hospice clean up their property
