    My first impression was that the staff are wonderful! Cheerful, outgoing and proactive. Dune Surfer Inn reminds me of the old time motor inn. Think Motel 6 back in the day. Nothing fancy but clean, reasonably well equipped and comfortable bed. Location is great if you’re looking to go out on the dunes. Just a 8 minute walk to the beach. But a drive to local restaurants and the core area of Pismo Beach. I get that this is a tourist area, but I did think the nightly rate was excessive for what was being offered. Okay for one or two nights. Would I book again, probably not.
