Room was clean and quiet. Staff at reception was friendly. It felt safe and secure. I appreciated the parking for my uhaul trailer. I loved that my dog was able to stay with me since I was moving and had her with me...well she's always with me anyway! The blackout curtains were a nice touch.
The breakfast was not at all what I expected. Very unappealing and I didn't have anything. The bed was a little hard. The shower and toilet both screamed when you used them! Nothing crazy.. just little things.

Rugged Country Lodge is a gem! It is amazingly affordable for the high quality of the room. Very small bathroom. No vanity. Noisy because of the trains. Breakfast was very marginal.
