I like that it was surprisingly a good price for the room and it was very comfortable and very spacious and very clean

Newly renovated, clean and tidy, yet simple property

The room was just as presented on the website. Newly remodeled, clean, smelled good. There is parking on the street - our car was right by our room. We were on the second floor - VERY quiet.

No elevator - but it was not a problem. We could have used 4 bath towels (instead of 2) - one for my hair and one for my body. Aloso, There was only one hand towel. There were two of us traveling in our room. It would have been nice to have lights other than just the overhead light. I did like that they could be dimmed. Even with blackout curtains, There was a lot of light that came around the curtains.

The price was fair. The location was convenient. It is close to the highway. I noticed several stores nearby including a Starbucks right across the street. The staff was pleasant. It was located near the event that we were attending. Parking was free and convenient. The beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom and furnishings were updated and modern. Floors were updated.

The room appeared clean, but upon closer inspection it really wasnt clean. The floors felt dirty. Our sink was not draining (it was half full of water upon entering the room). I was in a hurry to get ready for an event. I had to go to the front to ask someone to address the sink. I had to leave the person (I assume manager) in my room with my belongings as we left for our event. He said he would plunge the sink. The sink did not seem to be wiped down afterwards. The hand towel that we had used previously was still sitting on top of the sink when we returned. The towel should have been replaced after the sink was plunged and the sink area should have smelled as if it had been cleaned. Maybe it is me, but I didn't want to use a sink that a plunger (possibly used in a toilet) had been used on. I regret even asking to have someone address the sink because I was then afraid to put anything on the counter. The sink continued to back up with water throughout our stay. The bathtub also backed up with water when I showered. We ran out of toilet paper (there was no extra roll). We checked out of our room first thing in the morning. Normally I sleep in after traveling but there was quite a bit of noise from upstairs footsteps. If you are looking for a cheapish hotel you found it, but I booked this based on the great reviews for cleanliness and budget. I would have spent a little more if I knew I was going to have these issues.
