The Buena Ventura suite is awesome enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi and quiet time. Big comfy bed and the white sheets are to die for and look so inviting.

The room was HUGE! The in-room jacuzzi tub was truly amazing. Felt like honeymoon suite. Loved the breakfast room attached to the lobby as well. It was just lovely. Service was great!

I appreciated the fresh fruit and ease of heating the food.

Would have preferred less processed food and more whole grain breads and cereals. The reconstituted eggs were inedible. Hard boiled eggs would be good for people who want a simple protein.

The furnishings are very nice and gives the hotel a nostalgic feel. Large rooms and very quiet location just off the 101 so it is easy to get to and to go into Pismo BEach.

Comfortable overnight stay

The check-in was fast. Location to our room was good. The king room overlooking the pool was generously spacious, we were not expecting a little balcony, but there it was. My husband was impressed by the smart tvs, it was very easy for him to cast his phone to the tv. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable.

The decor of the room and the furniture are very dated (meaning old).

Lovely hotel

The sheets were really scratchy. First night I did not sleep well. I was in an accessible room and called to see if they would deliver ice to my room. The person said they would, but no one ever came. A second time I called and asked for a blanket. Never got one.

The plates & cutlery, etc. were on the counter, right in front of someone's seat, making people have to reach over that person's food to take their plates utensils. Not good. Or particularly sanitary...

Front desk check-in personnel had such terrible attitudes and need more customer service improvement. Check-in keys not working, even 2nd night. No instruction when and where breakfast is going to serve. When asked questions, seems tried to ignore in response. Will not stay on next visit Pismo Beach.

Very old building. Ownership has not been keeping up with the maintenance of the facility. Carpets & cloth furniture gross. If your going to spend your money I suggest shopping around to get a better room. No elevator so you have to carry your luggage 3 floors

It's always a nice stay. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy, nice breakfast-free 👍, & to receive service or ask if service is needed every day is the best! Peaceful garden area, nice grounds, and a large area for fido - equipped full with doggie bags, around the back. I've seen my share of affordable around the SLO area, and you couldn't find a better place for the price. Pool and sauna on site with a laundry room. Starbucks, a gym, and a grocery store within walking distance. The staff at the front desk have always accommodated me and been very cordial.

Awesome stay.

Cleanest hotel I have stayed at and we stay at hotels four times the price we paid here often. I was impressed at everything. The (free)continental breakfast was a great way to start my day at the beach.

The lady at the front desk could have had a better personality. The breakfast staff was very warm, inviting and helpful.
