Beds(old), beddings(stains), bathroom(holes), rusty, sink, walls(holes) outdated microwave, dirty coffeemaker, lack of towels and soap, no screen windows, floor( sticky), lack of hangers.

When I arrived the carpet was wet. The shower head had been replaced and left sitting on the floor, there was rubble from the wall scattered all over the shower floor. The makeshift shower curtain holder was on the floor also.

Amazing stay

I stayed at Cedar Inn & Suites for a weekend getaway and absolutely loved it. My room was spotless and cozy, and I could walk to the lake in just a few minutes. After a day of exploring South Lake Tahoe, relaxing by the pool was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip!

Great stay! Super convenient location — just a quick walk to the beach, shops, and casinos. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, good Wi-Fi). The staff was friendly and made check-in easy. Perfect spot for a quick Tahoe getaway without spending a fortune. Will definitely be back!

Cheap for South Lake Tahoe, but l found a much better place for $15 more a night

Decent bed, great location, good wifi and TV.

So they actually put me at the facility where you check in which is across the road from where l booked. No one works in the office, you need to call them. I asked for a quiet room, which l did not get. I was put it the corner and right next door is a bar where they play live music until 9 at night during the week. When l asked the manager he told me that is how it is, hw should have asked me if l wanted to move to the facility that l originally booked which is further away, and newer. Right next to my room wall was the damned ice maker, it was noisy, waking me up in the middle of the night. Building is old and run down, floors creak, steps are not level, but it was inexpensive. There are clearly some long term tenants there.

Fantastic, convenient, and comfortable.

Great location, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Despite the website saying there was no AC, our room had a window unit above the fridge which kept the whole room cool enough for us to sleep. The manager was very friendly and was happy to give my friends dogs loads of pets!

The beds were a little soft, but some people really love soft beds so that's not a negative towards the hotel, it's just a personal preference. The hot water was also very "picky". It was hard to find the sweet spot between too hot and too cold.

It smelled like something had died in there, most likely from the unwashed and turned off refrigerator that I had the carelessness to open. The hole in the bathroom wall and the weathered wooden panels add to the post-apocalyptic atmosphere.

The room was dirty . The carpet was stink .The linens they put in the beds were obviously used by the previous guests. The bathroom was moldy and the floor was dirty . You can see hairs on the floor.Disgusting !

It was one of my longest nights and stays.

There was nothing likable about Cedar Inn & Suites.

It was very dirty, unhealthy, run down motel. Property needs lots of deep cleaning, remodeling and repairs. The in wall AC unit filthy and loud. I can’t even imagine how the filter for the AC must be. The smoke detector was held by strap to the ceiling.

The location was near where we had entertainment scheduled and also to the lake.

There were no washcloths. The bed was old so there was sagging. The room was somewhat bedraggled. Looks like they are trying to improve. The flooring was new and the main room had been painted. And there were workmen that said they were going to be painting the outside of the inn.

Not the service we expected.

The location.

The room was quite dusty, and unfortunately, several of us had allergic reactions almost immediately after lying down. The coffee machine was also dusty and didn’t work at all. We checked in around 11 PM, and the front desk staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful when we asked basic questions—definitely not the warm welcome we expected. The location is great, but the cleanliness and customer service need improvement.
