An excellent option to stay if you're looking for a place in Kauai.

Everything you need at one location. Beautiful pool, food trucks if you want a quick meal. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Awfull - Avoid. Rude staff, poorly run - Absolute shambles of a "hotel" of you can call it that.

Packing my suitacase and leaving

Awfull stay, from the staff / management down to the cleanliness of the apartment. After queing and waiting to check in for 45 minutes the lady at reception said that my stay is not at the Wyndham property but down the road at their sister property. This was not the case as i had the booking confirmation. I heard her colleague tell another customer that they had over sold their rooms and was at full capacity. After driving and trying to check in to the sister property they said that my booking was infact with the wyndham and therefore had to turn back around and head back. At this point my partner and i was extremely frustrated after a 16 hour flight this was not the way i wanted my holiday to start. When i arrived back i spoke to the SAME receptionist who said "oh you are booked with us" .... Yes i know i told you this almost 3hrs ago and you didnt believe me. I complained to their manager about the inconvenice and they said they would re-inburse us for the first night (as most of the day was spent running around wasting time due to their poor management and checking in process) - And yet to receive anything from them. AWFULL. Also, when we collected our "welcome pack" the hippie guy mocked my english accent and thought he was being funny infront of his 17 year old colleagues. I had a stern word with him in which he apologised. Badly run franchise, would not stay here if it was the last hotel on the island. Wyndham standards have plummeted dramatically in the last few years. Shambles. Dont even get me started on the room, was damp smelt of mould and flys /everywhere as well as roaches.

We had a great time and ignored all the bad stuff. I don't think we will return to this location.

We really did enjoy this property and walking around the grounds as well as other nearby areas. People at the facility were very nice. The grounds were kept up very well. The person giving us the time share presentation was very friendly and we actually enjoyed talking to him (he was from Hawaii) and he didn't fit the mold for a typical sales person. We asked for some fresh towels and waited a couple days then requested them again. They finally got delivered the second time. Birds in the area were amazing to watch. Very few cats. Free music at the clubhouse was very nice (free mai tai). Units/rooms were very large and kitchen had everything you would ever want or need.

Oh my, where do I start? We were here 8 years ago and in the same building. Nothing has changed, except some appliance upgrades. Same furniture, same artwork on the walls etc. Like being frozen in time. I expected to see some type of upgrade to the units. The dumpsters (for your trash) were full and running over. The floor in our unit was extremely dirty. The light diffuser in the main bathroom was really dirty and had dead bugs stuck to it. Flies were coming in through one of the screens (we think in our main bedroom?). People above us (for a couple days) made a lot of noise and talked loudly on the patio at night. The concierge told us she would request the front desk send us a gift because we were on our honeymoon. Never received anything. Walk-in shower in guest bathroom had mold in the corner of the wall. Both bath tubs/showers need remodeling. Soap dispenser in main bathroom by sink never worked. This place needs a quality control review by someone from time to time to make sure they are being cleaned properly.

our building was perfect. So pleased that it was not located in the middle of the property and that the balcony felt private and relaxing.

Since there are no on-site restaurants, there should be at least one on-site food truck that is open for breakfast much earlier, and stay open for dinner later than 6pm. We were not aware that your on-site food trucks do not open until late mornings and close so early at 6pm; this significantly caused a wrinkle in our plans for a couple of the days. It is extremely inconvenient to be required to leave the property if you want breakfast before 8am, or want dinner after 6pm. Also, warning to others... They will try to talk you into attending the time-share presentation. Don't fall for it. The small print makes the 'incentive' very difficult to take advantage of!

Possibly the last time we stay at Bali Hai

Bali Hai is one of the most convenient locations in Princeville.

Amy room requests made in the booking.com communications was never received or acknowledged at the property. Our first assigned room hadn’t been cleaned yet, and this was after 10 pm and a long day of travel. The facilities have continued to deteriorate over the years and condos we stayed in 10 years ago are now showing their age with little to no upgrades.

spacious size unit for a couple, well equipped kitchen, lovely balcony suitable for dining. nice pools. since no food service facilities on site, nice they provided 2 food trucks offering good food at good prices. also close to market for supplies.

first reservation was mixed up, but got resolved with time. Didn’t like being pursued to attend time share buying program, not why We were staying here. lack views from balcony and within the resort. not close to any coast views.

Overall the accommodations were very good. Location was perfect for our visit specific to Hanalei. Staff was definitely the highlight of our stay.

The facility could have had more clubhouse activities - ping-pong tables, more pickleball courts. Things that my kids would have enjoyed more of when we were not at the beach.

Great value in Princeville, would stay here again!

2 bedroom, 2 bath Villa with a pull out sofa bed had plenty of room for my extended family of 5 adults. There are 2 swimming pools & 3 hot tubs to choose from. Also there was a nice gym room. Full kitchen was great, we were able to cook breakfasts & dinners! Free parking. We were always provided with extra towels, bath & kitchen amenities when we called the front desk. Each room had ceiling fans & air conditioners.

Front desk said that the pools were heated, the ocean was warmer, lol. The pull out sofa mattress had stains, but we were provided with a mattress cover & fitted sheet to place over stains.

Decent location

My room was terrible. I got in late and had to wash my own sheets because there was hair and dirt and weird stains in my bed. The shower was mildew-y (a reasonable amount is expected) but this was even smelling bad. The staff also kicked me out of the hot tub ~20 minutes before it was even supposed to close. All around not a good experience, just in paradise.
