Room was clean, updated and beds comfortable

Location a bit rough, some transients around the area. Pool was down, no chairs outside by pool either. Coffee or water in lobby weren’t available much

There was very little food left and several guests were waiting ahead of us for them to bring more. Waffle batter had run out and only 1 spoonful of eggs with.8 people waiting. Manager and hostess were very rude, said they were not making more because it was nearly nine o clock.

There were roots sticking up in the area near entrance and could have caused trip and fall, Sr Citizens with small grandkids carrying luggage. Front desk clerk was very rude, leaning against wall on his cell phone. Towels for pool were to be provided, acted like it was a pain for him to get them and then only gave us 3 for 6 people and said that was all they had. Check out was at 11 but when we got back to our rooms at 9 they had already disconnected the room keys and we couldn't get in. He told us rude that it was our fault because we had cell phones too close, which was not true. Everything we had to deal with he always came back with a smart alert answer. The vinyl tiles in the hallway were buckling up and causing a trip hazard. All other LA Quinta locations have been great. The one in Marble Falls gets a 10 every time we stay there.
