I really liked my stay there. So worthy. The terrace has a spectacular view with beautiful sunset to witness, nice and chill people around, sociable but respectful, and the customer service from the lovely receptionist Yanina was great- I asked twice a towel and she gave me without asking for the deposit etc. I stayed for 3 nights in the female dorm room.
Only one thing- there wasn’t the extra mattress cover so the fitted sheet was slippery all the time during the night. Besides that, all great!

The only really nice things were the view from our casita over the ocean, the hammock at the front and the location in the heart of Quepos en route to Manuel Antonio. Not all rooms have a view. Facilities are old and in need of a serious upgrade. The Lagarto restaurant next door is very good but pricey.
Hard to find (little signage on the road). Old. Poorly lit. Lacking in dishes. A/C leaking if pushed too much/long. Noise from adjacent rooms and restaurant. Overall it felt like staying at the Y.
