The Inn at Ragged Edge

Gorgeous well preserved property on gorgeous grounds.

No elevator to rooms on 2nd and third floor

Rachel & Simon were fabulous and very friendly. I was able to reach them easily with any questions I had. They were good at recommending places to eat and shop in the local area. Rachael made the BEST breakfasts and they were always very filling and flavorful. The property was lovely and well kept. The stream at the back of the property was a nice surprise. There is a small kitchen on the 2nd floor where you could heat up food and/or store your leftovers in the fridge, which was nice. It is a very welcoming bed and breakfast and I plan to return again with my daughter in the future.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like, but it would be good for the website to go into more detail to let you know that all of the rooms are either on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the bed and breakfast. My room ended up being on the third floor which was fine for me, but probably not for some folks as it was 4 flights of stairs. The wifi needs some work especially for the two rooms on the 4th floor, farthest away from everything. It also might be a good idea for the website to mention that the TV are Rouku, so you would need your login information to watch certain programs on TV.

The staff was very warm and friendly, we enjoyed hearing about the history of the house and the wonderful breakfast.

Breakfast was wonderful! The Inn is beautiful with gorgeous woodwork! It's reminiscent of the "Old World Luxury of Days Gone By!" The Inn Keepers are very friendly and helpful, making you feel very "at home" immediately! We enjoyed our short 1-night stay so much that we planned a longer stay next month when we're in the area again!!!
