Location is fantastic - you're just across the street from Mammoth Village. Accommodation was nothing luxurious, but was quite comfortable. Very good beds, pillows, and water pressure. In-room ski-rack. Note: no A/C or breakfast (front desk said they'd been working to correct misinformation around that).

Summer trip but weather was great and plenty to see and do. Lodge was right smack in the middle.

Agoda & Expedia failed to pass on my written requests but thankfully Brett at front desk worked hard to honor my needs. A+ for his willingness to rearrange. I showed him my receipt WITH the request on it but SADLY Agoda/Expedia did NOT send it TO Alphenhof. A "C: for Adoda. I recommend you call hotel directly to chk if they got your request. I needed ground floor ADA. Great pool, very clean, frig. Breakfast wud gave been nice

If your looking for something affordable and want something that’s clean and comfortable like a Hyatt or Double Tree this is a good middle it’s such a great location . It has an old charm but it’s clean. The bed better soft firm super clean . I can’t wait to stay in winter I bet it looks even more like a place from Sweden. We didn’t check out the amenities.
