Excellent location. Couldn’t be much easier to access Heavenly. Lots of bars/restaurants in walking distance. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, free breakfast, helpful staff, thorough cleaning staff, convenient parking.

Not major but maybe they could use a water heater upgrade. It isn’t bad, could be better though.

A good stay. I go to Tahoe a couple times a month in the winter to ski and will stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable and well suited for my furry four-legged traveling companion. The room cleanliness, especially the bathroom, exceeded my expectation. Morning breakfast was a nice touch, a typical continental breakfast. I gave and 8 star rating only because this is not "top notch" and hence more costly lodging. As noted elsewhere, the value is better than average for this class of motel.

Everything matter exceeded my expectations so there's nothing that I did not like.

Inexpensive place to stay on a solo ski trip

Room did have heating problems but I was given a space heater to fix this problem. Generally, the rooms are clean. Room service is minimal, but that is no problem for me, but may be for other people. Breakfast was on par for this type of lodging.

Good price stayed for two nights at not much more than the price we paid for one night at other Motels on our trip. Very clean and comfy. Good breakfast. Close to lake.

2nd room was much better, in the back corner away from the main traffic touted.

Upon checking in asked for a room if possible away from the traffic noise so she said we could have a room at the building next door. It was right along the road of a major residential area with intermittent traffic? The 2nd room was okay but had overgrown weeds out the bedroom window. The clerk on Sunday morning was quite cold and very unhelpful.

Old tired building. Rooms are aged and minimally updated. Room and shower was extremely small. Tiles on floor are cracked and dirty. Outdoor stairs and railings badly needed sandblasting and painting. Could clearly hear the conversation in the adjacent room Essentially it is in very poor shape for the price.

The location was perfect. Close to everything.

I didn't like the fact that streaming apps are displayed on the tv but you can't use them. As told by the front desk agent when I called. He said they're only responsible for cable channels. I called another time because we couldn't figure out how to turn on the tv at first and the agent told us that the remote died. I asked where the charging base was located in the room and he told me I had to have the charging cable myself, if not, I could take it to the lobby and he could charge it. Very cheap pillows.

I expected a nicer room for the prices paid. The ones I got were not well maintained.

The beds were comfortable. The location was good.

The carpets in one room are stained and filthy. The overhead lights did not have a globe to cover the lightbulb. It looks like the room is going to be renovated so the hotel doesn't want to do any upkeep. (But I was charged the full amount). I asked the desk clerk to charge two rooms for two nights to my credit card. I asked this ahead and then again the day before arrival. The clerk charged two rooms, but just the first night to my card. I called about it once again and the clerk insisted that my credit card was charged for both nights but it wasn't. So my guests had to pay with their own credit card. It is very embarrassing to have had this happen when I called 3 times to make sure the charges were only on my card. When I mentioned the dirty carpet, the clerk asked if I had let them know. I said the housekeeping should be letting them know. And I am letting the clerk know right now. (trying to blame the guest, it seems)

Good value for an average room.

There is a place to eat next-door so we walked. It wasn’t a very big. There are trash cans outside so you didn’t have to fill your room with your trash. They had good breakfast.

Clean, but not wel equipped

I liked the price, although not cheap, it was the least expensive option around South Lake Tahoe at the time. Location-wise it's close to a number of South Lake Tahoe's trail heads.

There were but little utilities, no coffee mugs, no tea cups for instance. No water cooker. No dish washer. It was just minimalistic. There was a lot of traffic noise.

There was no ice available. At all. Only one tiny mirror in the bathroom. Space in the bathroom was nonexistent. There was no spot to even put soap in the shower! Being in a building so far removed from the office and not at all part of the pictured location I was not great.

$650 for 2 nights in what should have been a $75 a night room.

The bed was comfortable and parking was adequate. The rooms were quiet and walls pretty sound proof.

The shower was horrible with no water pressure and the head wouldn’t adjust to spray below your shoulder level. The toilet was super tiny from the 60s. The bathroom counter was really low and there was no place to set anything. The bathroom was run down and old. The bed lights and charges shut off with the main light switch so no phones charged the first night. The lighting in the room was horrible with no lights in half the room. The wall plugs did not work. There was no body wash, no hair dryer. The ice machine was in the laundry room and dirty. The pool was destroyed and there was no place to sit outside.

Great place to stay!

It's a great location, the staff was super friendly (I had stayed about a week so I met a couple of the front desk folks), the room was spacious and clean. And they are actually PET friendly, not just dog friendly. I moved up to Tahoe and stayed here while I was getting settled. I brought my senior cat with me and she had a great time there too.

While I was there they were doing construction and remodels, I never had issues with noise but the construction took up a lot of parking. But that's only temporary!

Very close to casinos

The staff, I left a very nice flannel in the closet. Had to leave early in the morning I called back later in the afternoon once I got home and realized. And a lady said she’d call me back the next day and we could figure it out

Children-friendly, with a lot of animation for the kids! The location is perfect, it's very practical. Good food and good service in general!

Crowded when it's high season and they were short-staffed during the diner and at the bar. You need to be a bit patient in that case. But very friendly staff despite their stress!

It could have been better with a heater

Everything was going great, the location was near a lot of stores and a 7/11 and liquor shop were near.

The heater stopped working at day 2 and I called twice for it. No one came by to fix it, even when I sent someone to the front office because we were out of toilet paper and they told them about the heater nothing was done. Supposedly they called someone but no one came to fix it. We were cold after getting to the hotel from our new years event. It was about 25 degrees outside and nothing was done about it.
