About this house rental
Magnificent house of 25 m2 in the lush garden of a charming old country house of the 18th century. A terrace of 40 m2 is available, lined with giant bamboo Anduze and shaded, with garden furniture and deckchairs. A mosaic bench inspired by Gaudi and Niki de St Phalle sets the tone. The place is atypical and surprising.
We like to take refuge there after deliciously under the sun of the beaches. The calm is absolute, there is a traffic noise in the middle of this lush garden, only the lapping of the pools in the adjoining Japanese garden. At the end of the afternoon, we watch the sunset that illuminates the entire terrace and the interior of the house.
Breakfast is an absolute happiness.

For 2 people, this maisonette with its recent design, the walls and cathedral ceiling in gray and white graphic wood paneling as reception tents, has a chic cabin or dacha look, and was inspired by Le Corbusier. My paintings on the walls are for sale.
It includes a double bed, in 140, covered with linen, a kitchen corner in aged marble equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, a top fridge, a Smeg oven, a microwave, a plate vitro, an electric teapot, beautiful dishes, and essential products, new kitchen utensils. Everything is there with the necessities.
Compact and well thought out, this small kitchen fits perfectly with the rest of the room.
A small vintage desk, a library with books available.
The marble mosaic bathroom with sink in an antique vanity table, separate shower and separate wc, is gorgeous.
Parking not paying just in front of the bastide, residential area. Metro St Barnabas 10 minutes, near all shops in this village district remained authentic.
Direct Vieux Port in 10 ', you will be quickly at the beach or in a boat for a stroll at sea or to the islands of Friuli or the Castle of If. On a festive catamaran, or for the visit of the creeks to Cassis.
Well attended and green, the 12th district is 15 minutes from the city center and the sea.
This refined and original place, with fresh decoration and very neat is very clear, with a window on the kitchen side and a glazed entrance door with swing opening of the interior overlooking the garden of the bastide, as well as a French window double glazed window and bathroom window facing terrace.
The place is impeccable.
Having worked in the public service, I have always had an artistic activity, realizing various sets, or gardens, among others, even in the context of my work.

My wife and I had a great stay in Helene’s garden home. It was cozy and well equipped and a great outdoor oasis a short walk from the metro. She was a kind and available host. It felt quiet outside of the center of the city with easy access, which was perfect as we drove in and could park on the street without problem.

The property was absolutely wonderful, and seemed very French. From the street, all you see is a ordinary door, open the door, and you step into a beautiful romantic garden. The apartment is small, but entirely adequate, if you want to cook a meal all the utensils you may need are there. For us it was too far from a grocery or cafe to walk to have dinner or breakfast. We didn't have a car, and public transportation is expensive because this is a neighborhood where people don't need public transportation. If we had planned, we could have brought some food to cook, and in the summertime it would have been lovely to have cold cuts and wine out in the garden.. We ended up staying one night, and the other night we had in Marseille at a hotel next to the train station we had to leave from the next morning. That location is also not in a tourist area, but near many cafes, and walkable.
I do recommend this VRBO, the host was wonderful.

Hélène a été très accueillante et arrangeante pour notre arrivée. Ses petites attentions sont un vrai plus et ont contribué à la réussite de notre weekend sur Marseille. Le lieu est très bien placé, très propre et magnifiquement décoré. Enfin, le jardin est sublime et donne un cadre idéal pour un apéro au calme en soirée. Je recommande vivement !

Le logement proposé par Hélène est magnifiquement décoré, mélange de diverses inspirations, et permet de se retrouver au calme après avoir visité la frénétique et surprenante ville de Marseille.
Mention spéciale pour le jardin particulièrement luxuriant et offrant une pause ombragée à n'importe quel moment de la journée.
