Loved this location and the free breakfast. There is a daily amenity that I wish the Agoda website would display that is not part of the price before to submit payment. It’s only shown earlier while selecting the room. Other than that, my experience has been amazing.

I got a standard “non-smoking” king bedroom. The room was spacious but very outdated. It had that old carpet cigarette scent. The mattress was pretty firm and a bit uncomfortable.
Shout out to the front desk and valet service staff because they were nice and tried to be accommodating. Unfortunately, they came on a booked-out weekend, so I was stuck in that uncomfortable room.
The location is obviously downtown. Close to many small businesses, which was nice, but the street the hotel is on is horrible. A lot of homelessness in front of the hotel, and people are doing drugs. I felt iffy, but thankfully, nothing happened when parking and leaving my car at the front for valet services.
I highly recommend the valet service. I had better peace of mind leaving my car with valet services than trying to find my own overnight parking.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with my stay at Hotel Providence booked through Agoda.
After checking in, I entered my assigned room and found that it had not been cleaned at all. The room was in a completely messy and unsanitary condition, which was both shocking and unacceptable. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.
I immediately went back to the front desk to report the issue. However, I was told that the hotel was fully booked and that no alternative room could be provided. Even worse, they refused to offer any compensation or solution, stating that I had booked through a third party.
Due to the late hour, I had no practical option but to stay, which significantly impacted my experience. This situation reflects a serious failure in basic hotel operations and customer service.
I strongly urge Agoda to take responsibility and ensure better quality control with their partner hotels. This experience has greatly reduced my trust in booking through Agoda.
Would not recommend unless proper resolution and accountability are provided.
