Fairfield Inn and Suites Flint Fenton

Close to family, restaurants and shopping.

Faucet in bathroom squeaked. The water for shower was barely lukewarm.There was a broken tile on bathroom floor.

Breakfast was good. Some of the chairs were not! We moved to another table. The bed in the room was comfy.

I wish hotels would put comfy chairs in the rooms. Missed having a microwave for popcorn.

Had a cold shower in the morning. Water would not warm up.

The staff messed up my payment from booking.com, saying they never received payment. I ended up being charged twice. So part of my stay was arguing with the staff and having to be on the phone with booking.com customer service for HOURS. So what was supposed to be part of my vacation was anything but. Eventually I asked my husband to get the contact info for the supervisor and general manager. When he asked the front desk staff they said they “fixed it” and my extra payment would drop off my credit card. Apparently they couldn’t be bothered to call my room and tell me. So if he hadn’t contacted the front desk for that contact info I never would have known that everything was fixed. On top of that, booking.coms customer service was horrible. I won’t be using booking.com or this particular hotel ever again for any reason. Absolutely unbelievable.
