    What a hidden gem this motel is! OK, it's not in the middle of Mystic, it's a ten minute drive out, but if you have a car that's no problem. We had booked a bedroom with one bed, but when we arrived we found it was upstairs and we asked if there was any chance it could be changed to one on the ground floor because we had a lot of luggage. The very personable receptionist very kindly said he could let us swap rooms the next morning (we were booked for three nights ) which we did. It made it much easier for us . Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. I think it had been refurbished recently as it was in very good decorative oder. The staff were very pleasant.
