Very disappointed in facilities. All of the entrances of the hotel were filled with smokers After arriving at our room, we found the TV not working, room phone was not working and we could not connect to WIFI in the room as advertised. To solve the problems we had to go back to the lobby to inform the desk about the problems. I was told they would have maintenance would check the TV. The desk clerk told me WIFI was not her responsibility. I asked why the phone were not working and she said that most of the phones in the rooms did not work. I asked how I was going to get in touch with the front desk and she said you have a phone in your hand. After returning to our room, the room had not been cleaned and we had to call the main number of the hotel to get towels and wash cloths. Also, in the bathroom the toilet paper holder fell apart when we used it. Also there were no bars to hold the used towels. There was a only a shelf for the clean towels. I think this hotel is over rated. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We visited the Gettysburg area for a few days. The Eisenhower Hotel was just down the street from the battlefield. indoor pool was very warm and a joy to swim in.

Carpet is buckling in all the halls, light flicker, water went out for our traveling companions, and even the kids decided the pool seemed unsanitary. Another family with us found a dirty diaper in their room. The furniture in the lobby literally drew blood from two of the girls because the staples/nails holding it together were sticking out. Our room was…fine. The shower floor was VERY slippery and the air conditioner had to be on the coldest setting nonstop to be an ok temperature, but was very loud.

Hallway smells like an ashtray. Outer doors aren't secure. No deadbolt on room doors. Bathrooms are a joke. We'll make a point of never staying here again.
