We arrived early and staff were super friendly and got us a room as soon as there was a clean one. The room was nicely furnished and clean. Bonus, food truck pod right across the street so we didn't have to travel and find dinner. Surprisingly, we didn't notice the street noise during the night.
Nothing, it really exceeded our expectations.

The staff was great and friendly. Also I really liked how close it was to OSHU.

The fact that they took cash or debit..... But it DEFINITELY doesn't make up for the horrible service and horrible rooms.
Nothing about this hotel was pleasant. The first room they put me in was decent looking I guess. Bed was completely caved in the middle and uncomfortable. The table beside the TV was wobbly and wouldn't even hold basic items without almost falling over. The TV itself didn't work and completely disconnected from THEIR network and it took hours for them to fix it. The owners are EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. They charged me 63 the first night and when I extended they charges 73 and then made me move rooms in the middle of my day randomly. . . . Came and knocked on my door (before even fixing my TV i asked bout an hour prior) and said i need to move and proceeded to move my bags for me. Not just the male owner moved my things to get me out of my room asap but his wife came upstairs and entered the room and moved my things as well. Then in the room they moved me to, the chair in the corner of the room was a plastic chair you would find in an dmv waiting room, not a hotel/motel . .vs the normal chair like they had in the other room upstairs. The bathroom in the second room downstairs was moldy and the vent didn't work, it pushed the steam into the entire room. The heater was horible. Barley worked. The TV downstairs also didn't work. I tried to EXTEND my stay for a third night and they said I wasnt allowed to. I started packing/planning and then they called me 10 min after and said I could extend. . . Then proceeded to charge me 91 for the third night despite me asking for a discount for the inconvenience and hastle of moving me to a HORIBLE room and upcharging my room every time i extended. . . . .They were trying to keep my deposit of 200 due to having a service animal who didn't damage or do anything to the room. Also they charge $10 just to park your car where you're staying and have a cerfew of 10pm. . . . No visitors in the hotel you booked. And I'm attaching the pictures of the mold. .

Hotel is great value for money and in a very convenient location on the south edge of Downtown Portland. Area is within viewing distance of a tram station which makes transportation very convenient. Room is clean enough and does the job.
Beds were little too soft for our taste, and the light from outside shines through the blackout blinds. Being in a busy part of town, there is quite a lot of traffic noise throughout the night

The proximity to the university and the downtown area of Portland. Many restaurants and food truck nearby. Clean rooms
There was only shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Would have been nice to also have lotion and conditioner

Convenient location
The comforter had big dark stains that I didn’t notice when I arrived because it was late and I was exhausted. When I woke up I realized that ALL the bedding on the bed was either badly stained or it hadn’t been changed in a long time. I felt absolutely disgusting once I saw what I had slept in. This was the second time I have stayed here and it will be my last.

Location and price.
In 4 days the room was never cleaned. I don't make a mess, so didn't complain.
The worst coffee on earth, no breakfast of any kind .
No hangers in the closet!

Good location. Near a bunch of food options and bus stops. Super inexpensive for the area.
You get what you pay for, I guess. This place clearly hasn’t seen any love (or maintenance) in a very, very long time. The towel rack was barely attached to the wall, there were dents in the walls, the sheets and chair were visibly dirty. Window A/C worked ok but was really loud, fridge barely worked, TV remote was disturbingly sticky.

Nice quiet, clean room. We had a last minute situation come up, and staff were very kind and understanding.

I emailed this motel 5 times because they would not answer the phone. I never got a response and I was charged for a free cancellation. Would never recommend doing business with a company that lacks customer service or basic respect of there customers needs!
It would of been nice for someone to answer the phone or respond to the numerous emails I sent.

The location was good and there were food vans over the road so we had a Mexican dinner and it was excellent. The room was a little
small but ok just for the night. All clean and lots of hot water and a good shower.
Motels have become expensive in the last theee years.

Very quiet and nice neighborhood for a cheap and easy hotel. The man up front was so extremely helpful and kind, which made the whole experience. It's right next to a bunch of food trucks and the train so if you're hungry or need to travel it's all at your fingertips. The train and 2 different bus stations are all next door, so getting from place to place was extremely easy.
My only critique would be the walls are VERY thin.... we had our window out to the street and heard people clear as day outside, as well as our upstairs neighbors. While it wasn't terribly noisey, all it takes is one loud person and it could have ruined the expeirence. In the end, a great and affordable place.

Good location. I had a coffee maker in a room and the refrigerator, so I was fine, I like the fact that unlike some other hotels in a city there was an ability to open a window which is economically and ecologically preferable to conditioner and better for your health.
