We will not be staying here any more!

The facility was nice.

We found out they do not honor the price that Booking.com provides. So our stay cost us much more than we were expecting. I called them and they said their rating is different than Booking.com and did not stand by the quoted price.

SUB PAR…not up to Marriott/Hampton accommodation expectations

We were placed in a handicapped room which basically a mattress on the floor. This was NOT a good fit for two people close to 70 to get DOWN INTO…and get UP OUT OF….The breakfast was below substandard…. There was NO hot coffee …no hot water to even mix up coffee or tea. There was no microwave in which to heat up water, etc. (the microwave in our room was not helpful, since we were already loaded out of our room and just “assumed” there would naturally be hot water for my tea and hot coffee for husband. ). My husband had a hard time getting the attention of the breakfast person…and when she finally would answer (it SAID on a sign to ask for help if needed, which this person was NOT very accessible to anyone there) He asked for some hot water, and her solution was to give him hot water out of the kitchen faucet. There was many there that were attempting to make it OBVIOUS that they went ELSEWHERE for a breakfast and brought it in for themselves and children. There was no BREAD…..of any kind….available….just cereal and cold scrambled eggs that could not be warmed up since there was NO MICROWAVE. I myself went to the kitchen door and knocked several times in an attempt to request some kind of bread, bagels, etc….for toast. She NEVER came to the door. On a trip thru Salida a couple of weeks later, we ran into quite a bit of rain and since it was getting dark decided to try to get a room somewhere in town….we, at the last minute secured a room at Wyndham Baymont….although nothing fancy, the beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast was quite ample….WITH a breakfast person who was constantly refilling things, asking if we needed anything, etc. I have said all this BECAUSE….we have been regular travelers with Marriott, Hampton Inn, and related hotels for over two decades…and have come to expect much better quality…You don’t mess with people’s first meal of the day….you expect smiling friendly and helpful staff….and a HOT breakfast with HOT beverages.

NO hot coffee….NO microwave to warm things up…NO hot water for oatmeal or HOT beverages. NO bread items of any kind. Cold scrambled eggs. Breakfast person NOT available/helpful

Exceptional facility and staff.

My wife and I like the cleanliness of the room as well as the outstanding service of the staff. As far as the amenities the breakfast, which we ate three days, was varying enough not to be boring but was always tasty with plenty for everyone involved. We found the shower to be outstanding, while the bed was comfortable and welcoming.

This is a very minor detail but we would have both preferred to have had a small heater of some sort in the bathroom when we showered.

Breakfast is from 6-10 I went to get breakfasts at 7 and A lot of the treats were empty and weren’t being refilled so there weren’t ALOT of options. The power kept shutting off a few times an hour every hour.

Not the best Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at.

Comfortable bed and room

I don’t think the room was thoroughly cleaned. You could clearly see on the bed side table that it was dirty. Also the bathroom wasn’t thoroughly cleaned and we weren’t given any towels or toilet paper. Almost like it was forgotten or maybe they’re shorthanded. I’ve stayed at Hampton Inn a lot all around the country and Normally they have coffee station set up in the lobby or close to the lobby area and I really wanted a cup of coffee one afternoon and everything was empty. And one morning for breakfast there was no more of the creamer packets that I use and I asked the breakfast attendant guy if he had more cream and he looked at me like he didn’t understand me at all but then again he had his earbuds in probably listening to music. Overall a decent stay & the bed was comfortable so that was good but not the best Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at.

Short but sweet, and I will definitely return.

I left too early to have breakfast, but the rooms were very nice and clean, staff was great and check in was a breeze. I was in town for a backcountry snowcat trip, so usually excitement makes it hard to sleep, but I was very comfortable and they put me on a quiet floor, so I slept really well.

The main entrance faces away from the road, so it was a little word driving around to the “back” of the building to get to the entrance. But parking there made it so your vehicle was not visible from the main road, which turned out to be nice. I really have no complaints, but if I had to come up with one, that’s the worst I could think of, lol.

Overall, it was a great stay. Just being picky, I would recommend a pool sweep. Some debris was at the bottom of the pool, which made it look dirty.

Overall, a comfortable updated property in a terrific location.

The front desk staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooms are updated and comfortable. Decent indoor pool and hot tub for the kids and a fusball table, which was fun.

The breakfast was very skimpy. They were out of just about everything. They said it was because their shipment didn’t arrive on time, so I can’t really fault them for it.

The staff was amazing. They were very helpful no matter what we asked. They all greeted us and were very kind. We loved our room. It was a king size with a pullout couch. Very roomy and lots of space for everything. I loved all the amenities in the room. We loved the breakfast area and the breakfast. It was very delicious and well stocked. The gentleman that managed the are was very cordial and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool as well and spent some time in the patio are. The location is wonderful and we enjoyed being in that area.

The shower head had many options but had been left on a stream option and I couldn’t get it to move. So, my first shower was sad, but my husband was able to move it and it improved from there. Also the coffee pot and the brew inserts didn’t match up so I had to get creative with brewing coffee in the room.

We had a very nice stay in Salida!!!

Big, clean room. Staff exceptional. Furniture was nice, not saggy or old. Pull out couch was extra comfy too. I had a horrendous experience at a Hampton Inn in Pueblo. THIS establishment is very well managed and supervised. We will stay there again & again!!! 👏👏👍😎

Breakfast had NO to go individually wrapped items. ☹️ Pillows are horrible. Way to soft. The prices are a little high.

It was in a good location. was very quiet and clean.

I didn’t like the fact that I had booked a room with two queen beds and when I checked in they told me that I had a room with a king bed. that was not what I had booked. They had us switch rooms with our friends since they had two queens and said that they would take the king. they charged us more for the room than what it said when we booked it.

Discriminating, rude, and will harass you to the extreme!!!

Absolutely nothing

Everything!!!! We were harassed the whole time and felt extremely uncomfortable because they totally discriminated against us the moment we walked in. Judged us for our looks, and caused problems for my family and I, by calling the police four or five times. Making us leave. And also, creating an even bigger problem for my family after leaving. All I can say is, this place tries to be a high end establishment, that only allows a certain type of persons in. So if you feel like getting harassed and messed with, I wouldn't chance it. Find somewhere else. They are rude, and will take it to the extent as too extreme. So be careful.
