About this villa rental
Part of small hamlet in Western Crete, The Crete House has been transformed into a four-bedroom holiday home with a stunning swimming pool. The ground floor has many of its traditional features and stone walls whilst upstairs are 4 cool, stylish large bedrooms. The House is just a 40 minute drive from Chania Airport and 30 minutes from the Venetian City of Chania. The local towns of Kissamos and Platenos are a 5 minute drive. The fantastic beaches at Falasarna and it’s ancient ruins are a 10 minute drive, as is the town beach and tavernas at Kissamos. The ferry port, where you can take day trips to the stunning beaches and castle at Gramvousa, is also a 5 minute drive. For your truly outdoor, tree-hugging types, fauna and flora abound!

Very spacious house in quiet surrounding, 15 min from Falassarna Beach and 5 min from next village. Nice pool, huge and cosy terrace with shade and cool rooms (June). Can absolutely recommend the place!

Lovely, large, comfortable villa in the olive groves. Incredibly peaceful. 10 mins drive to falassarna beach, past the bakery for breakfast, turquoise sea and sandy beach. Highly recommend.

Recently returned from 2 weeks in Crete - what a fabulous villa! Very spacious and comfortable and beautiful outdoors space.
The views are very special and The outside terrace is fantastic for entertaining, eating outside, relaxing, reading, or just chilling out.
Everything you need is in the villa, and we found the owners were extremely helpful.
Local beaches are sandy, and sea is clear you can walk out for awhile before it gets too deep - great for kids.
There are some really good local Taverna's/restaurants in Kissamos, and Platenos (about 10 mins drive away) so car hire is essential.
Local bakers and mini market 5 mins away in car.
The Villa is located in an unspoilt area of Crete - we would really love to return here again next year.
It was a wonderful place to stay in a great location and we would highly recommend it.
