Barrier Island Station

It suited our needs for a nice place to stay! We had our grandchildren visit and they enjoyed the pools!

a beach front bar would have been nice

The amenities of pool, basketball/ tennis: pickle ball, location, grounds, size of our space were all amazing! Location was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. The rooms were definitely older and need to be updated, has carpet which I find gross anywhere, but for the price you can’t beat it!

Rooms/ apartments were old & carpets - 10am check out too early & check in isn’t til 4pm

The Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The property has so many amenities that we did not have time to use. Clean. The snack shop by the pool/ocean was a great feature to grab some food rather than going back to the room. Our room was as advertised and photographed. Some signs of aging but normal. I wish there was some basic seasonings - salt and pepper. The coffee was very good to start the day. We plan to come back.

Location very slow on memorial day weekend. Fantastic beach! Thanks Erin at the beach bar! best pina coladas around! Nice pool as well! great location good eats right across the street. Cute lil town OBX people are awesome! Go eat at "I got your crabs" seafood place in kitty hawk and go to the Dunes in Nags head! Its free and wonderful place to see the sound and the ocean!

the shower rod didn't fit. we had to keep it HIP LEVEL 103B. almost asked for another room just for that. Entire place feels like a mid eighties time warp. I mean DVD/VHS combo on 19" TV? the fridge is itty bitty. bring a cooler and ice!
