Barrier Island Station

Location was awesome Loved the pools (they had a toddler pool!) Nice big condo

Things could be updated a bit. The fireplace was falling off of the wall & the furniture wasnt super clean

The condo itself was great, and it was nice that you could park close to the pier, and the coffee shop on site was delicious.

The property doesn't have any elevators, we we ended up renting out someone's condo that was on the the 3rd level. It's quite the hike to lug a large suitecase up three flights of stairs. It's also a little weird that visitors have to bring their own blankets. We brought a light one, and there was a light one on property, but it would be more comofortable for travelers to not have to bring their own.

Overall the location and facilities are great. Bed was comfortable; hot tub in the room worked great and a nice deck area. The pool area is recently redone and really nice. Beach access is easy to use and the community room is really nice.

The accommodations are getting a little old and really need an update. The furniture is kind of pieced together and some stuff like our TV stand was not functional and out of place. The dishwasher and coffee pot are really old and barely worked. had a screw holding the handle to the refrigerator, which kept coming out. but again overall it was a nice accommodation.

Location and view

Little rundown, the carpet and the linoleum was messed up, and also the door was hard to shut
