    Once a popular and desired hotel that has passed its prime and former glory. Fortunately, the lobby retains its impressive redwood interior. Bed was fine but room did not have adequate lighting. Continental breakfast cannot even be called a breakfast so expect to eat breakfast at a real restaurant. Nonetheless, it's still the Eureka Inn, still standing, and still in use as a hotel.

    We spent our wedding night at the Inn 51 years ago. It’s an old property with clean rooms, a great lobby, and a helpful staff. It was quiet and comfortable within walking distance to old town Eureka. The breakfast was just so-so. We were also surprised that there was no bar or restaurant open. I was told that the bar is open Thursday - Saturday only. I would think that a pub with a bistro menu would be a success in the summer. Overall, we’ll stay there again.
