Homewood Suites by Hilton Erie

It was accommodating as far as the size of the suite and hotel location. Nice size for me and my 4 grandchildren to spend Christmas. Nice living room space with pull out couch and fireplace, nice size kitchen area, full refrigerator and stove, 2 nice size bedrooms w/queens beds, 2 bathrooms. The hotel sits right by the mall, restaurants, and plaza. Literally walking distance.

This was my second stay at this hotel and to be honest it probably want be the last bc of the size. Can't find suites that size literally apartment size that can fit 5 ppl w/o being crowded. However, the first thing that comes to mind that I didn't care for was how uncomfortable the bed was. Omg, it was like laying on a stack of bricks. The bed on the other bedroom was ok but mine was super hard. I didnt sleep well at all and we were there for 5 days. The couch was very worn and when sitting on it you would sink down damn near to the floor. Furniture was very outdated. Hate when hotels doesn't keep up on furniture. The carpet could use some major cleaning. Keep in mind this hotel is pet friendly. Erie PA gets lot of snow. Guest are walking in areas where dogs do their business. Guest then track in water, wet, nasty, urine, feces back inside the hotel rooms. The carpet in our room was dingy. One area of the carpet was crusty where something spilled. The carpet in the hotel hallways and rooms should be thoroughly cleaned at least twice a month. The kitchen utensils were very limited, cheap paper towels you wet them and they turn to tissue, pot and pans old and some of the lids were missing that part that's used to take the lid off the pot. I thought that was very ratchet. The hot complementary breakfast described was nonexistent. Literally nonexistent. Lol! The first time we stayed about 2yrs ago it was pretty basic but tolerable. This time nonexistent. The Desk Clerk said something about the new hires had not been trained or didn't show something to that point. So, the entire stay I had to cook breakfast. Thank goodness for the full kitchen w/stove. I brought a lot of things from home with me so I was prepared considering I remembered their breakfast last time. I brought paper plates, utensils, meats, to prepare meals at least 2 days out the week to save money, seasonings for food, 2 additional pots. Didn't get in the pool this time.

Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Location was close to where our family lived and the Erie Playhouse.

Parking lot a little slushy, but considering the amount of snow received it was probably as good as it gets.

i loved everything! the room was so spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, i loved that you could access netflix and disney plus on the tvs and the staff was friendly and super responsive

i personally loved everything from the side of the room, the cleanliness, the lobby, and location. There wasn’t anything i didn’t like

Price was good.

Mattress needs to updated, Not firm enough. Disappointed with breakfast, mostly ran out of food, coffee and supplies.

Super comfortable

As soon as we walked into our room, it was clean, no smoke smell, and absolutely loved the tv greetings! We were able to pick which floor we wanted for our suite and I’m so thankful there was one left on the first floor as we had both a 6 month old AND a dog!

There was nothing we didn’t like! It was amazing!

The kitchen! I will definitely consider staying @ a Hilton Homewood suites again !! Roomy … everything & that kitchen .. !!!
