I was in town for procedures at the UI. The motel is pretty close and also located amidst plenty of restaurants and stores, so A++ for convenient location! Our room was very clean, the hot water was HOT and despite our floor being full, it was nice and quiet. The room was warmed up before we arrived, so, that was nice too. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, yet professional. There were also plenty of parking spaces available. I would stay again and I would also recommend this motel to others.
There were just a couple things I was unhappy with. The hallway outside our room reeked heavily of marijuana and really thick cigarette smoke. . There was actually a haze in the hall. It was not pleasant. When I tried to bring it up to the staff on shift, she seemed more interested in getting back to the chat she was having with the dude that was hanging around than listening to me. Very dismissive. There was a breakfast but it was very, very disappointing. There was no hot food except waffles, but if you don't eat waffles, there's not much else to choose from.
