The room was clean and location worked for my needs. I appreciated the complimentary waters at check in.
The pool was out of service. Most notable was that the cleaning lady knocked loadly on our door at 9:30 asking when we would be checking out. The front desk had told us the night before that check out was at noon. It was a good thing we were already awake or she certainly would have awaken us. It was actually very rude. It came across that her need to clean our room was most important to her and her schedule.

This Hampton Inn was such a pleasure to stay at while in Winston Salem. Everything about it was on point! The location was perfect, the room was clean (smelled like strawberries :-) and spacious, and the hot breakfast was excellent. I'll be in Winston Salem next weekend and refuse to stay anywhere else but here. Hampton Inn at Haynes Mall for the win!!!
