Hollywood Beach Tower

The pool was nice. The location was excellent. I took advantage of the on-site salon and was very pleased. We liked that it was safe and secure.

The bed was hard. I didn't like that it was a time share. I did not want to be approached for a meeting while on vacation even if I was to be paid. I told the nice gentleman at the desk. I was still contacted twice via text after she couldn't leave a message. Turn off!

Close to the beach, perfect view from balcony, nice rooms that feel home, but overpriced.

Hidden fees after check in, feels like scam. They don’t care that you paid through booking. Unfriendly, anxious staff. Also construction on entrance, that nobody processing, it makes it ugly.

Celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary here; everything was amazing!

I don’t like that you have to choose side A or B. If you want a unit with a kitchen then you get a Murphy bed but if you choose a kitchenette you get a regular bed

-Shower pressure is not good -To get to the beach you have to walk out the front of the building and around the side to the back. Steps from the pool areas down to the beach would make more sense. -limited towels/wash cloths. We stayed Friday-Monday and got one towel/wash cloth per person. Only other option is to pay and do laundry yourself. -limited toiletries -no beach chairs. There is a business on the beach that had chairs locked up but no one working Friday-Monday that we stayed.

The location is perfect for access to the beach and the Broadwalk where there are many restaurants and entertainment options with live music. The room was perfect for us with a soft king bed, 2 chairs with table and a sofa. Love that there was a fridge/freezer and microwave in the room! The bathroom was adequate and had a shower, not a tub which was unique and appreciated! Love that we could control our own AC with no restriction!

Parking charge of $20 per night was a bit of a surprise but I know parking in Hollywood comes with a price tag and $20 was fair so not really a negative. Loved Sammie who manages the parking lot and appreciated the garage to keep the car cool. Supplying tea bags and luggage racks in the room would be great additions.

Location was great, pool area was nice. The rooms were decent size for 2 people. The full kitchen was a plus.

The seating in the rooms (couch & chair) were not comfortable. I wasn’t aware it was a Murphy bed when I booked, but it slept fine. The hotel had a musky smell throughout, and our hall (12th floor) always had a strong cooking smell, like garlic. I wish the bar at the pool stayed open later.

Perfect location and amazing view to the beach from our room! Staff was nice and friendly! The gentleman coordinating the parking was so nice and helpful! The room was clean and it smelled good! Will definitely recommend to others!

The decoration/accessories in the building needs to be upgraded to more modern but overall the stayed was amazing!

Excellent location, by the broadwalk facing a quiet spot of the beach. Very close to the more lively part of the beach with restaurants and stores. The only thing I disliked was the decoration with its various mixes of colors and patterns, but besides that, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was courteous and the swimming pool was clean..

Beach access was a bit different having to have to go out the back of the building and walk around. Room with a murphy bed was a bit out dated but comfortable. The kitchen worked out Great! Did not like that the windows would not open and there was no exost fan leading to the outside of the building. Caused for an extremely stuffy room.

The pool area was nice, rooms were clean and smelled nice. extra pillows and blankets were provided. there was a fully stocked kitchen and view from room was beautiful.

it wasn’t as close to the main broadwalk area has I had hoped, the buildings around it looked run down and u. used and numerous homeless people and sketchy people that appeared to be on drugs hung around the property where you exit from the pool, keys don’t work trying to get back in from the broadwalk to pool and you have to walk around to the front lobby. the staff was hands down the worst part. I was double charged for my reservation and spoke to several different people at the property, all whom were no help and I’m still fighting for my money back. I spoke to them with nothing but kindness and respect, was never rude at any point but was given short and rude answers to anything that was asked. I was approached twice for a “timeshare” presentation. The pillows were old and not of typical hotel quality. bed was a Murphy bed (literally why), mattress was uncomfortable and you could feel springs. I woke up with back, neck, shoulder, AND hip pain everyday. I am super easy to please and have stayed in some pretty cheap and shady places but for over $200/night, I would never stay here again due to the attitude of all 4 staff members I interacted with alone. the only staff that was nice and even attempted a smile and didn’t appear miserable was the African American male security guard working on the night of 4/21, super helpful and actually checked us in as the desk lady started to check us in, and when I asked about being double charged she said “I’m off the clock you’ll have to ask in the morning” and then walked away and has the security guard finish checking us in, this was after sending numerous messages through booking.com prior to our stay and calling twice and being told a supervisor wasn’t there at the time and they’d call back (which never happened).

..bed was a murphy bed couch...not most comfortable.. lady who answers phone during day was rudest,non profession attitude - 3 times experienced this...

I like the location

I didn’t like the back side view even they confirmed the reservation in the same day and I checked in at 10 PM that means that they have a bunch of available rooms but they still gave me a room not with the ocean view since it’s beach line hotel but the back parking lot’s wall view even they saw that I’m Floridian and could be back to stay there again if I like the place. Also it’s pricey $250 a night room with all fees and looks so dated. The loud next room faucet’s woken me up at 4 AM. The room looked clean before I found a peace of trash on the floor. The parking was full so I’ve tried to park on the first level but it was a sign Park is full and the door was closed but there was one available space so I had to go to the lobby to ask to open the gates to park there.

Parking didn’t have an elevator, and we were pressured as soon as we got there to buy a timeshare.

It was not good parking was rough and the garage smelled and was so nasty. Breakfast was not included which is ridiculous being we paid almost 700 just for two nights

No breakfast and the hotel was old and dingy
