The manager was nice and understanding
Before booking i asked if the pool was working and if they had a work out gym. I was told yes. Then at the front desk I asked again and was told yes however the pool was shut down and the gym all items were broken.

The breakfast was good
We rented the room for two nights. We could not sleep because a dog was barking in the adjacent room. We could not rest at all.

Location was the only good thing. Easy access off of I-40. The breakfast was good, not premade, microwave crap.
Older building with make shift repairs then painted over. Obviously not done by a professional. Dog hair on the furniture. Noisy, could hear people walking in room above. Dining area too small for the number of people. Night and morning desk employees were unfriendly, and obviously bored with their jobs.

A little outdated. Some damaged furniture and noisey fridge.

Convince of location for our trip
Nothing, have stayed several times

The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast, had the basics and wasn't too bad. The staff were pleasant.
This hotel has seen better days. While mostly clean, it was in need of renovation as we found water damaged walls in the bathroom, squeaky mattresses, and generally, just a tired facility. If these things don't bother you, then you should be fine here.

Walk in the door and the hallways had a bad smell first room we was in had a bad smell and the ac wasn’t working so they moved us to the next room and it to had a musky/moldy smell got to looking and there was mold in the air conditioning unit on the wall and there was mold on the bottom of the curtains! Went to the front desk and asked for a refund and was told that the general manager would be in the next morning and would issue a refund. I have yet to receive said refund.

My room was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were perfectly fine. The breakfast was adequate for me- there were scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, 3 types of cereal, oatmeal, bagels and a few types of bread for toasting, mini muffins, waffle makers, yogurt, and coffee and juices. It was perfect for me.
My hotel room phone woke me up at 12:30 am when it inexplicably started beeping through the speaker feature, scaring the bejesus out of me. It happened again at 1:00 am, so I unplugged the handset. I notified the front desk worker in the morning, and I also left a note by the phone explaining exactly what had happened. When I got back from my outing that day, I saw that someone had written their initials on my note, so I assumed the problem had been fixed. However, when I plugged the handset back into the phone base, the same thing happened. The speaker phone magically turned on, and the phone started beeping. So I unplugged the handset so it wouldn't wake me up overnight again. I notified the front desk worker again in the morning when I was checking out.

Very clean inside and out. You can tell that management takes pride in his establishment. Definitely recommend
Not much light for putting on makeup

Cleanliness & Breakfast
8.0 / 10.0
Breakfast was surprisingly good. Compared to other hotels that offer that. There were carts for luggage that was helpful.
Didn’t have much time to watch TV, but in the evening and in the morning, we could not get the service to work. It was either loading something or you had to have password. I called downstairs and they were no help. The other issue was the bathtub is extremely slippery. My wife and I are older, we didn’t shower other than the one time and I told her how slippery it was. No decals no skid resistant surface just a slippery bathtub. That’s an accident justwaiting to happen.

Should have been cleaner, this older property has not been kept up very well.

The location was really decent, it was nice to stay near downtown but a bit away
From the outside, it looks really nice, but as soon as you walk in, you can tell it's older and hasn't had updates. There are folding tables being used to keep paperwork and signs on. The swimming pool looked like it had some kind of film on top of the water. The elevator smells pretty bad inside. The flooring is damaged in places just walking through the hotel. The sink in our room was cracked. But, the room was pretty clean and decent. The beds though were the worst part of the stay. I don't know how old they are, but you sink into them like there's no support anymore and they are so hot. They just make your body heat radiate around you. We had the AC on so low to try to cool us down, but we were just sticky and sweaty all night laying on those mattresses - we hardly slept all weekend. We almost considered checking out after the first night and ending our trip early, but we were in town for graduation. We would never stay here again just based on the beds. Not being updated and modern is really no big deal as long as it's clean and comfortable. But when you can't even sleep at night, that's a big problem.

Breakfast was good
Bad room for the money. Stuck by the stairs which was very noisy with the door opening and shutting all night. The beds were small and lumpy. And some other guest got sent to our room to check in. They double booked the room. Wtf....

Breakfast was good and the woman that runs the breakfast was super nice.
First room we checked into had a malfunctioning door and would not lock. We had to move rooms. Hotel is very "tired" and needs updating.

The front desk quickly helped me change my room when I had a minor issue.
The evening / night shift staff are very rude and un professional. First, I came in to the lobby to see him sitting on the check in desk eating taco bell. That same night he yelled at my friends and I who did not know that the main lobby door locked at a certain time.

Hallway smelled. People on second floor making noises late at night.

The breakfast was ok, bisquits and gravy were good the eggs not the best but nice that they offered hot food and cereal cold options.
The pool and motel were alittle dated compared to others I’d stayed at, but it was clean and comfortable. I got charged 2 authorization charges which froze some of my $ until a cpl days after checking out which was upsetting. I’ve never had this issue before, but it definately put a damper on trip

good location
we had made our reservations months in advance and instead of letting us know that there was a change, even after talking to someone a month before, we didn’t get the rooms requested.
we also asked for maid service twice and the only thing done was our towels changed. we were there 6 days and had no bedding changed the entire time no floors cleaned very disappointed.

Breakfast was exceptional! Air conditioning was very comfortable. (These units are usually a problem)
The bathroom shower door seal was off, and the doors were hard to slide. Had to reprogram room keys twice.

Front desk guy was so friendly and helpful. Made us feel very welcome. Nice, clean facility. Breakfast was a great addition to the overnight stay.
Not a bad thing to say. That's unusual with most places we've encountered over the years.

Free breakfast offered, pool
The exterior was updated but the interior was very outdated and the shower curtain was cheesy/cheap.
