    It was perfectly fine, the property just needs a facelift.
    We liked the location, staff, and the cookies. The layout was good for an active toddler. We liked the courtyard eating area. The shuttle to town was great, used it twice.
    The rooms are very tired, they need to be remodeled. They are also very small. The dresser in our room had drawers that wouldn’t stay closed, really annoying in the tight space. The baseboards looked as if some rats had chewed on them. Curtains were yucky. We used to stay here about 10 yrs ago, it was fine then, but now it’s not.

    We were only staying one night but housekeeping knocked on the door at 8am. They weren’t going to clean the room and were maybe just hoping we were gone already, but we were hoping to sleep in. That would be my only complaint

    Bed was delightful. Quiet. Pleasant area
    Upon arrival there was a lot of dark hair in the bathtub and was not cleaned thoroughly. The shower head did not work well and spray was weak. Sink plunger did not work well and had to pull up stopper by hand.

    No replies to multiple messages on Booking.com app; sent us a COVID era message about wearing face coverings at hotel at all times which also stated check in was until midnight.
