The room i booked was being worked on and we were still put in it, lol. But got moved to upstairs which i have disability in my hips and back, the stairs were too steep and added pain.

The room was updated

The people in the area were very scary, I literally kept my pepper spray in hand and made my son carry a tazor in hand when moving items into the room. There was a vehicle that sped into the property, and turned around really quick and stopped in front of our vehicle, I thought they were about to hold us up at gun point. There was a homeless woman walking around hallucinating and stood 1 ft beside me when I was checking in (from the outside window - even the property is aware how sketchy the neighborhood can be I guess). She ended up being picked up by ems. I feel it could have a lot of extra lights installed and have security present. I wanted to take a loss on the booking and find elsewhere but my son convinced me to just go ahead and stay since we were already there. Also, there was a short black curly hair on the bottom sheet of the bed, I slept on top of my personal blanket instead.

I am appalled by my experience at Motel 6 West Sacramento. After turning off the lights and then back on, I saw bedbugs crawling across the bed. Pulling back the sheets revealed a mattress soiled with what appeared to be urine, blood, or bedbug excrement. When I reported this health and safety issue, the front desk clerk not only scolded me for pulling back the sheets but also lied, claiming he couldn’t issue a refund because I booked through Booking.com—even though I selected “Pay at property.” He was initially prepared to refund a day and a half until the general manager, who was out of the country, said, and I quote, “Don’t give her a penny back.” They offered pest control but couldn’t say when they'd arrive, had no other rooms available, and took no responsibility for the situation. I had no choice but to book another hotel for the same number of nights, paying out of pocket again. The management clearly prioritized profit over guest health and safety. I’m still waiting to hear back from Booking.com about my refund. This experience was completely unacceptable. And let’s not forget the green pool—complete with algae the front desk casually admitted they just can’t seem to get rid of.

Nothing fancy. NO FRILLS. Bed was OK. AC/heating unit worked.

Easy check in, quiet, clean rooms. Easy access to Interstate.

My room had a distinct unpleasant odor. Had staff provide a room freshener to mask the oder. Next door construction created parking problems. Small, unkept pet relief areas. Was difficult to find a good nearby restaurant.

Friendly staff, close parking, pool open and cleaned regularly, rooms are recently renovated and very clean. I've been staying here twice a month for years and I've never had a complaint.

They are trying to modernize it with cleaner look.

Overall workmanship and finish details were weak. Smoking is supposedly not allowed in or near rooms, but the person in the room next to me smoked outside their door and the smell wafted in and the room in general smelled a bit smokey.

My motel rooms floor was filthy and had not been mopped and I was walking around barefoot and I could see the dirt on feet. I'm currently homeless and paying way too much money to get and pay for a room daily to beat sleeping outside on the streets

Good Location. Clean rooms the only thing is that the pool was out of order.

No elevator or other help for disabled travelers even though there were a preponderance of disability signs on the property. I don’t use a wheelchair but do use a cane especially after a long day of travel with delays. I didn’t request disabled accommodations so they didn’t know to put me on first floor but I assumed there would be minimum accommodations particularly in California.

Typical Motel 6 chain motel. Stayed for one night before the flight. Good location, 20 min drive to the airport. The guy at the reception was nice. Had fridge inside.

They started blowing leaves at 7am :))) limited parking due to the ev stations being built. The receptionist worked through the window - no come in (it was around 8pm, so matbe just in the evening). Found a dar hair on the bed, the mattress was not comfortable.

The room had 2 beds for me and my kids. Clean blankets and sheets. Nice room.

The pool wasn’t open for use and it was one of the main reasons I booked so my children could swim. There was no microwave in the room. The room floor wasn’t swept. There was not a tub stopper in the tub for a bath. The seal on the door to the room, you could see under it so it let out the cold air or heat. Had to use a towel to block the draft.

Close to freeway and restaurants and stores.

Half burned out hotel next door. Room not the cleanest.

The girl at the reception desk in the morning was very nice. She is the only pleasant impression.

There was hair on the bed. There was a lot of it. I had to put my own bed linen on the bed.

The room was clean and neat and the shower worked fine. There’s a construction project next door that limits parking, though, which was the biggest inconvenience.

Nothing rude unprofessional crew . They literally threw all my belongings in trash bags I will file complaint and request full refund and accuse me.of doing drugs because I'm diabetic not acceptable

The only thing I enjoyed was that it was close to freeway exit and entrance. Was only there for about 2 hours to get some rest and left ASAP.

As soon as I walked into my room, a strong smell of cigarette blew into my face. There were about four flies in the room with spiders in every corner like it has never been dusted off as I walked into the bathroom the toilet had hairs on it, like it wasn’t cleaned properly and the shower curtain had yellow spots all over it.

The desk clerk, after checking me in, insisted on everyone's ID without a policy to show me. THIS HAS NEVER happened to me before.Every inch of me thought we were gonna have our room broken in. The clerk made me feel like we were gonna be sex trafficked or targeted for something - 3 females.The clerk literally threatened me and said something bad was going to happen to me. When I asked him what he refused to ellaborate.People were living in the parking lot. Whole crates and trash littered the lot. I was double charged. The clerk told me I couldn't do math even as I looked at my bank charges that I have kept photos of. The room was disgusting. I was initially refused a refund after the threats. I did not spend the night there. Never ever ever again. There are way nicer places for cheaper just minutes away in Davis.

They tried to ask for a 100$ deposit fee that was t stated on the website at all.. then after telling them that I didn’t have that at all && I only had what I had purchased,they then proceeded to ask if I had any extra money at all.. didn’t seem professional at all to me so I cancelled. Please make sure that if you’re going to charge a deposit fee of 100$ for only two nights, put it in bold letters so that everyone is aware because it seemed like i would’ve got scammed if I had the extra money && decided to go through with it ..
