I got a room on the second floor at the back, and the view of the pier was incredible.
The room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke; there weren't enough towels, and the ones that were there didn't look very clean—they were a bit dingy from use, I suppose. Furthermore, the reservation stated that the room included a mini-fridge, but in reality, it didn't have one.

This is always my go to place when I come back to visit in the Bay. The lady who checked me in and out is the nicest, sweetest, most professional worker I have met at a motel in general. The room smelled very strongly of smoke, but otherwise it was very clean, and thats not the motels fault that someone smoked in the room. The TV, microwave, and fridge all worked great. The room had a nice water front view. There is also the little pier you can go hang out on. Very quiet. My dogs always like coming with me and enjoy the stay too. It's alot cheaper than any of the other motels in the area. Everytime I visit, all the other people that are staying are nice and respectful.
The smell of smoke bothered me the most.
