Great location! Dartmouth is directly across the street, and the hotel is walkable to everything in Hanover. Lovely staff, spacious, clean, quiet rooms.
The only downside is parking, which is all valet. But if you plan ahead (ie: Take everything you need out of your car when you arrive and remember to ask for your car at least 10-15 minutes before you need to leave), it works great. They even kindly parked our car right out front the night before our (very early) departure so that it was ready to go when we came downstairs.

Older building with beautiful character throughout. Front desk staff extremely friendly. Location is excellent in town with walking distance to restaurants. Room felt clean.
Valet attendant cursed at our group for temporarily parking under the entrance awning while checking in. Main elevator was down and all guests had to use the service elevator in the back, long wait times and lines, cramped. Air conditioning (despite being a cool October day/evening) could not keep room below 74 degrees, had to open window and be woken up by all the street noise or otherwise be sweating in the bed. Manager knocked a couple dollars off the stay but for the price of the night it was still highly disappointing, considering we're simple people who just need cleanliness and comfortable room temp to be happy.
