Staff was friendly and breakfast was good and included in price.
Bathtub was very slippery and dipped in a little. I slipped and fell when getting out. The safety grab bar was not on side to get out. The pool was being updated and not available. I wished they told us sooner. I would have tried to book elsewhere. Elevator was also being updated or used for construction and had a weird chemical smell.

How quiet it was. The size of the room. The bed.
The size of the refrigerator. That there was no kitchen

The woman who checked me in was amazing. She was polite and very friendly. Helped me with my questions and even had a great chat when we checked in.
The false advertising with the size. I purchased the king suit for the living room space.. and it was tiny and not anything like the photos. Couch smelled to the point that we couldn't use it.... but it was already super late by the time we figured the smell out so we just avoided it

Location was excellent as regards getting into town and good access to all major Routers elsewhere
Breakfast could be more varied. Not enough choice of Cereal.

Staff was nice, and check in and check out were easy.
Room floor was very uneven, door was difficult to open due to uneven floor. Desk chair fabric was dirty. I would mind these features but at $200 per night it did not meet expectations.

The hotel was okay. The price we paid was very expensive for what we got though. Large room, clean, but nothing super fancy. Room A/C could barely keep the room cool enough. The walls are thin so we heard a lot going on in the next room which woke us up around 2 am. Mans voice, lots of banging around. In addition the pool was closed and there was no pre-warning that this was the case. It's a good solid hotel but not for the price they are asking especially if large amenities aren't working.
The price - WAY too high for that hotel and the location.

We had a heater problem the 1st night. We were given a different room on the 2nd. The lady, Lucy, was very nice about it.
The bed & pillows were great.
The 1st bed was too hard as well as the pillows. The heater didn't work properly.

Room was clean.
Large room with plenty of space.
Was surprised with water pressure in shower and had plenty of hot water.
Would have been nice to have a larger chair or maybe small loveseat to set in to watch tv.
Chair in room was real small and not very comfortable.

it was clean and almost comfortable
thought I had booked a complete handicapped room but shower was inaccessible as my legs couldn’t carry me over the bathtub sides. The next stay we had in Valparaiso which was on the eighth I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and there room was much more accessible.

Clean. Accommodating upon arrival and during stay. The cleaning staff was extremely friendly.
We had no problem with the property or most of the staff it (and they) was/were fantastic!
My only complaint involves the overnight attendant who was extremely rude when 7 of us from 4 rooms gathered at a lobby table around 11pm to have pre-made sandwiches, after attending a wedding. She came out with a mean look and stared at us as though she was going to call the police.
When I waved “hi” to her, she ignored me and continued staring. With the exception of a newlywed couple we are all over 50, (one is even a great grandmother), we were all hotel guests, laughed during conversation but were not obnoxious AND cleaned-up after ourselves. We returned to our rooms an hour later. You would never had known we had been there.
As we left, she came out from a back room and as I said, “Have a great night!” There was, again, absolutely no response just a piercingly mean stare.
If it is a matter of having a bad night (and I’ve worked overnights, I understand) but it was still inappropriate. If it was that (because this is still COVID) she had to wipe down a table — we would have been happy to do so but there was no cleaning solution or paper towels in sight and since she never spoke to us, I can only divine that this may have been one of the reasons. We left the table, floor, and chairs spotless and arranged them as they originally were. Again, I stress, the staff was fantastically accommodating and nice, this employee was the only one who left something to be desired when it came to simply being polite.

The room was pretty clean.
When I booked the hotel it said that they had pool, hot tub, gym. In reality it’s closed. The manager was helpless. Very disappointed.

Extremely friendly staff, convenient location, clean facility
No room service due to covid regulations even with customers that had vaccine. TV speakers were not good quality. Price of the room was expensive, and we left early due to family concerns, with no money return. This was due to Booking's policy.

Clean, pleasant stay. Nothing more. Nothing less.
It was fine.

Hotel is located close to highways and services. It was not far from our son’s house. It is right off highway 30 and unfortunately we faced the highway and had to use ear plugs the first couple of nights but then it wasn’t as bad or didn’t bother us as much. Kyle was very helpful. We used the gym - updated equipment. The breakfast was pretty good. Basically eggs, sausages, yogurts. We didn’t hear any noises from rooms on either side of us which was nice considering the place was completely full over the weekend. Only a small amount of noise from the hallway and that was one night over 7 nights we were there
the bathroom counter and sink area is really small and separate from the toilet and tub/shower which was ok in size. A medicine cabinet would have been a big help in the sink area. the room itself isn’t real big but ok for the 2 of us for a week.
The noise from highway 30
