the motel is very dated. needs a major facelift inside and out. rooms smelled a lil musty from possibly mold or humidity but it smelled damp. u can hear the upstairs guests moving around

Would not stay here again.

I liked that it was located in Pacific Grove, and that it was clean. I liked that when we had to call for a plunger at 4am for the dinky toilet, they were there within 10 minutes.

What I did not like: the toilet was "child size", low to the ground, and had very bad water flow & required a plunger to function; the parking is HORRIBLE - there are not enough spots for the amount of rooms and you have to find your own parking on the adjacent residential streets; the front door was a sliding glass door that was very difficult to pull back and forth; they do not clean your room in the daytime while you're away. A note in the rooms states they don't clean daily because of COVID (that happened 5 years ago??); the room is tiny & barely contained the 2 queen beds; you can hear ALL the noises with the wooden stairs around the complex & the thin floors; the "breakfast" is a box with a croissant, cheese, and a cookie; there are slants and hills, and lots of stairs - not friendly if you are disabled or challenges getting around; the staff are not mean or anything like that, but they are not gracious or welcoming.

I didn’t like the room, the entry door is metal sliding door which is actually patio door. The room smells so bad that all my luggage and my clothes smell bad for a week.

It was a one night getaway with friends. Perfect for the one night.

We had an ocean view balcony which was nice. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean.

The shower was older and the handles were squeaky. The walls are thin. You can hear everybody outside.

It was convenient, clean, and quiet. Although there weren’t many people staying in the area I was, it was a good night’s sleep. Like 10 to 15 mins walk to the beach, passing a cemetery. lol. I wish I could have stayed longer to explore more of the area.

I have stayed there before but with balcony it was very nice this last few time it’s the sliding door which it’s ok but have to close the curtain or we’ll be exposed from outside otherwise I love to stay there because it’s clean for that thanks keep it up

I organized for my cousin Elizabeth Harrington to stay in the room. when I first called reception there had been a mistake on the booking end putting my 16 year old daughter as the one who held the reservation. the person on the phone that they would not let me check in due to this mistake. I phoned booking.com and sorted out the reservation for my cousin. my cousin tried phoning a letter after 2pm on the day of the reservation but could not get anyone on the phone so she drove over there. once there she was told that they could not accommodate her disability. they let her know that the only room available would be on the third floor only accessible by stairs.it is obvious by meeting my cousin that she would not be able to get up the stairs. I was not phoned or emailed by the staff that there was any issue but accepted payment.

Only worth the location in the summer.

Great location to the Pacific!!!

The hotel room was ice cold when we arrived in chilly December. they could have turned the heater on for us. Breakfast was not worth mentioning. Staff was non-existent other than virtually. Place should have 2 stars. Has not been remodeled for 45 years. Pictures are a scam.

Great location but the property needs renovating

Beautiful location.

My family was disappointed that the rooms seemed like motel rooms that haven't been updated in a long time. There weren't enough outlets and when the WiFi was down, there was no one to contact because the staff don't stay onsite in the evenings.
