I stay here all the time and love everything about the property.
Love the property…. I don’t know why, but I just tend to encounter staff issues here. I know that if anyone reviewed the way I was treated during check in at 9:30ish pm night before last…. Someone would probably loose their job. And again…. After loving the property itself…. I was hoping to wait until right before 11:00 to check out this morning because I’m only driving to hurricane WV when I leave here to check into a Wyndham …(so it isn’t far and check in isn’t until 4 pm) but housekeeping banged on my door at 10:30 and interrupted my zoom meeting… so I stopped the meeting and didn’t wait until 11:00. But the worst part was that lady during my check in…. No human being should be treated that way and I would be embarrassed if I was her that she is even capable of that. I had driven from verbena Alabama btw. I will probably continue to enjoy your property and attempt to tolerate some of your staff here…. So thank you for that! Also, kitchen staff and others I encountered were fantastic…. But that front desk, I’m sorry but wow. I suggest you use that encounter as a training video on “how to NEVER treat a customer”.

The hotel overall is clean, okay for a one-night stay.
The room is very dated and has some moldy smell; the breakfast was quite basic.
