... which is under refurbishment but still quite accommodating. I wish them well.
No phone to front desk, no clock, and a DRAG to have to move the microwave to plug it in. Someone did bring in a lamp for the desk, but having to rearrange haphazardly installed hotel room componets is always unwelcome & tiring. I will root for them.

Only two pillows on a king size bed two more were needed plus bed was not very comfortable

Floor was cleaner than many budget hotels and air didn't smell. I couldn't really hear the highway even though I was on the second floor by the road. Check-in was fast and staff was friendly. Location was mostly convenient and there were things to do and places to buy some vegan groceries within a thirty minute walk.
I'm very conflicted about this review because I had a pretty good trip. The room was missing toilet paper, a tp holder, tissues, trash bin and shower curtain. I reported this because I was worried they'd think I took stuff. I wasn't really concerned about it that much except until I saw the shower curtain, so I reported the things a second time and the friendly lady said they'd fix it. Nothing was changed though when I returned that day. Still not really a problem. The biggest issue was the noise. The A/C/heater unit can't be shut off and if one wants heat, it's even louder. I had earplugs still one needs to put a heavy shirt over their head and be overly tired. It really dried the air out considerably. There were also lots of other noises from the guests. Thumps, door slamming, cars with subwoofers going off erratically at weird hours. That was surprising because I was worried about the highway noise when I first checked in. However once I shut the door, that noise was mostly gone. A different hotel cancelled my booking in Orlando which is how I ended up here last minute for Swampcon, so I was happy to have a good trip and people in Gainesville are super-friendly.
