About this apartment rental
The apartment is in 1. OG a 2Familienhauses and consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with sofa bed, bathroom with shower, bath and toilet of a coffee kitchen and a small hallway.
1. Bedroom: double bed 160x200cm TV and stereo. large closet, balcony
Second Bedroom: double bed 180x200cm TV no closet. This room is only suitable for sleeping, since only in the middle part a standing height of 2m is given.
Third Living room: sofa bed 140x 200cm, TV, large closet, 2 armchairs, balcony
4th bathroom: bath, shower, sink and toilet
5th Coffee kitchen: fridge, 2 hot plates, sink and a small mobile oven, hot water maker and coffee maker.
6th Hallway with bookshelf
The apartment is conveniently located yet quiet. 2 bus stations are located in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. The football stadium is in 10 min. , the exhibition center in about 20 minutes by bus. With the same bus they go to the train station Zoo from where they are 5 min. to Ku-damm and
15 minutes. to Tauentzienstraße by foot. With another bus you drive 10min. to Spandau old town, there have suburban train, metro and mainline connections.
Shopping for daily needs and free parking are available directly in the apartment.

This was a wonderful place, we had a very nice stay. Our host Klaus was very helpful, and very patient when we arrived late due to missing a train. The location is very accessible by bus, which then gets you to the S-bahn or U-bahn.There is an Aldi right around the corner.

Klaus was very friendly at check in and check out. a peaceful stay less than 30 minutes on one bus outside the city center. The bus actually takes you all the way to the zoo. The place is near a 24hr fuel station with groceries and an Aldi.

Klaus was a great host. He set up the apartment so it functioned as three bedrooms. Small but functional and practical kitchen. Large bathroom and two decks. Comfy beds and with walking distance of a lovely Italian restaurant just up the street and not too far from Spandau. It is outside the city centre but it’s plenty easy to get back and forth. And the supermarket is just minute walk away.

Close to public transportation and easy walking distance to two grocery stores. However major sites in Berlin are about an hour away by bus.
We were there during a heat wave, and the kitchen and bathroom windows had no curtains or blinds to block the sun. I would have also appreciated the added privacy that curtains would have given to the bathroom.
The kitchen space is very small, really only functional for one person.
There were two small balconies on opposite sides of the apartment which meant one was always in the shade which was a relief from the heat.
Our biggest concern was that I had booked for six people although our booking was only showing four and not the two children with us. (This may be a problem with the Vrbo booking system). However, upon arrival the host insisted that we pay another €160 despite our communication with Verbo indicating to us that we had paid fully. When we tried to show the host our email from Vrbo he was still not convinced.
