I was very disappointed in the beachside resort. The pictures make it look like you are going to be staying at a propert

The staff was very friendly

They do not clean your room, there was a beach but it was dirty and the water was not swimmable, they do not give you fresh towels every day unless you ask, they do not offer complementary coffee in the lobby and if you have one of the signature king rooms it is very small and if you try to make coffee in the morning while the person you are staying with is sleeping, you are disturbing them and there is no other place to get coffee at the property but your room until 8 o’clock in the morning and even then you have to pay for the coffee in the restaurant. It is not complementary..

Pay to park - shuttle was always full - no maid service - couldn't charge things to your room - no phone to call the front desk - cold hot tub - not clean - run down. No oceanfront or beach - far from the action - restaurant expensive - food average - staff dressed and looked scrubby.

great apartments need more chairs at the pool

I love the apartments. I love the laundry, kitchen, big bedroom, big bathroom, living room. nice pool. good service.

I have stayed here many times and it seems like they lose pool chairs to breakage and don’t replace them. I counted the pool chairs, there are 40 total pool chairs. There are 40 units in one building and there are 4 buildings with multiple guests. It’s a big property and could easily have 100 chairs between the beach and pool. They need more chairs.

Beautiful room. Loved the furniture and decor. Comfy bed and pillows. Balcony was great. Spacious bathroom and walk-in shower. Pool area and outdoor bar very good. Parking great. View of water from balcony was beautiful. The small pier was nice. We liked to watch the waterfowl and the boats coming and going. The concierges were great. They sold us the BEST fishing charter (Capt. Conch)! The room was quiet and peaceful and relaxing. After sharing the below dissatisfactions with the staff, they did waive the parking fees which we appreciated.

The elevator to building 1 was broken. We were 3 flights up. Chickens were charming until they jumped on our table and took a poo by our chairs while we were eating by the pool. They kept returning after we shooed them away. The photos in the ad showed a small clean beach directly at the water but that was closed and tree debris was all around. Pictures in the ad showed a glorious sunset from the balcony. In February, that was not the case. You had to stretch your neck out the balcony to catch a sliver of the sunset. We had ants in the kitchen and bathroom vanity. The bathroom fan barely ran. The extra parking fee of $25 a night was disclosed, however there is nowhere else to park so they gotcha. This fee was nicely waived after we shared our concerns on checkout.

The bed was comfortable, but you won’t be close to downtown.

The bed was comfortable and it had a hot tub.

Sheets were too thin for the 40° weather. Elevator was out of order & had to go up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. The picture in the room wasn’t framed anymore, had fallen inside the frame. When we got there, the toilet had broken and sprayed water all over us and the bathroom when my husband tried to hook the handle back up. The pillows were down and felt like they had 2 feathers in them. The shuttle driver was behind us coming back from downtown and was riding my butt and flashing his lights, I had no ability to go faster because of the cars in front of me, I pulled over to the right lane to let him go and he continued to do the same until everyone was out of his way. Reported this to front desk staff, but they didn’t seem to care. Could have likely gotten similar or better accommodations and closer to downtown with less issues.

It was okay for the price we paid per night i would expect better housekeeping and working elevators

It has a shuttle bus that came every hour to bring you downtown, the restaurant on site has delicious food. The front desk staff was friendly.

The elevator was rattling like it was going to break down, and then it did break down very scary thank God no one was in there. No notes on the elevator to know it was out of service. We stayed for 4 days and housekeeping never came to change or bedding or see about our room.

Room was very nice. King suite was comfortable, great size, nice balcony. Bedroom/bathroom were great. Fridge, stove, etc. all great. Chicken walk bar/pool area, hot tub were all wonderful. Free shuttle into town as greatly appreciated and very prompt!

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4:00. Desk didn’t notify us when it was ready, not until we stopped in again. But we were accommodated with a gift card to the restaurant on site which was appreciated as it was a bit pricey. Half-bath toilet made a horrible screeching sound when flushed. Piece of the Kitchen sink faucet kept falling off. Pool lounge chairs were very uncomfortable.

Not enough chairs at pool. People went early in the morning and claimed chairs with towels and kept them all day, even when gone. One elevator working the whole time we were there.

King bed was fantastic. Everything but the floors were clean. Spacious place. Very nice patio/balcony. Great with two bathrooms.

Sofa bed was quite bad. Floors could have been cleaner in the apartment. Just a thought, maybe change the light color of the bulbs on the bar. If the light were a slight bit warmer, the pool bar may feel a bit more comfy.

Waited 45 for a table at restaurant for a late night dessert. Dessert was delicious, service was not attentive.

Nice little location to the beach & pool was nice.

No hot water when we showered and water leaking from faucet when turned water off. Baseboards had been damaged by water. Electrical plugs were all loose. Door hard to open & close. And could see daylight all around the door into room. Elevator made loud shaking noises. Room very dark.

Shuttle was down multiple times meaning we had to take a taxi to go downtown. Also for size of resort need to run more then one and more often. Notify front desk of bad light switch in bathroom (safety hazard) never addressed this problem

Not a resort!

Nice staff

This is NOT a Resort! The room was small and dark, you could hear the neighbors shower and flush. The shuttle stopped running, leaving us stranded and had to Uber back. To park you're required to pay $25 a night. No breakfast, no coffee. Hottub didn't work. No room service , no ice machine on the property. The "beach is a small roped off area full of seaweed off the mangrove. Neighbors toilet back up and instead of sending someone to repair they were provided with a plunger to do themselves. Expected RESORT, For sure doesn't qualify as one. Really a huge disappointment will not be returning.

I wouldn’t recommend Beachside resort.

Lift was not working. Staff was rude. Refused to make any changes to booking because it wasn’t booked from their site. Asked to talk to Booking.com if we want to change room or any other updates. We wanted to change rooms because we had 4 check in bags and lift was not working. Whole experience was really bad.

We do not recommend this place due its location and beach.

The apartment was very comfy and nice, there was a whirlpool in the bathroom that we really loved :) - Even though, on of the air jets of the bath for the back was not working :( Very comfortable sofas, chairs, satisfying equipment of the kitchen.

BEACH - it was the biggest disappointment! The pictures are lying, it does not look like that in reality! DIRTY - There was a lot of garbage, plastic and cigarette buds in the sand and around the place.. looked like nobody has cleaned it for a very long time, even though it was a private beach of the hotel! NO DIRECT ACCESS - You cannot access the beach-sea directly from your apartment, even though you are paying for the stairs to the beach a 100 eur/ 2 nights,- extra - for nothing, really, you just access the "beach" as any others and need to go further to a small place where you can go in the sea which is a few meters wide only.. the water does not look very clean also, not appealing at all.. Nobody was swimming in it of course. There were not even enough sun beds - guests where stealing the beds from the neighbors. The position of the beach with the buildings also not good - you do not have the sun all day anyway. LOOKS GOOD ONLY ON THE PICTURES. We chose the most expensive apartment, as we wanted the direct access to the beach, to have a morning swim, etc... instead we could not stand it and left the place one day earlier. PARKING - they charged a fee for parking around 25,-/day! Even though the hotel has it as a private parking.. it should be included, at least for the expensive apartments! We left a day earlier and they did not even give us back the fee for the next day.

The elevator was not working during my stay. The master bedroom TV didn’t work. The balcony door did not lock. I saw this comment in previous reviews I hope that they fix that soon for future guest. One of the toilets did not flush and the shower would get clogged. I expected more for the Presidential Suite

Overall, the hotel is very pleasant, especially for its atmosphere and location.

The hotel has a wonderful location with direct access to the beach, and the property itself is beautifully decorated – the palm trees and lanterns create a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The large, clean pool was also very enjoyable. There is parking available, but it costs an additional $25, so it’s important to factor this into the total price.

The only thing that could be improved is more frequent room cleaning, as sand from the beach can quickly make the room a bit messy. At times, it felt like the poolside staff were somewhat inattentive to guests.

Lovely apartment

Huge spacious apartment, cooking and washing facilities. Even provided a dose of detergent. Pool and view out to sea was nice. Pool lovely and quiet Monday, Tuesday. Free bus to town every hour.

We arrived Sunday and it was very busy at the pool. One kid said his mam had dropped him off, so don’t know if locals can just come and use the facilities. There were also no pool towels left on Sunday so they gave us bath towels.

Convinient resort for Key West family vacation.

We liked the comfortable room and convenient location - the pool seemed nice enough, but we opted for the Fort Zachary Taylor beach instead.

We didn't really lack anything. We didn't try the resort's restaurants, so can't comment on those. Parking was easy. No complaints.
