would like more parking closer to the door for a women alone, i had to parking in the further parking lot.

A Very Comfortable Stay

The Marriott offers what I value: comfortable furniture, effective room-darkening curtains, a quiet heating system, no humming from refrigerator, an alarm clock and a very clean room. The above average coffee in the room is a bonus!

Uncomfortable bed unless you like really firm

The downstairs area was nice

The cleanliness was not great. Saw cob webs and bathroom was not great. No attention to detail in the rooms

Good for a night

Loved the location, Ann Arbor is such a cool town very safe neighborhood. Pool was a great addition. When traveling with kids hotels with pool is always a plus. Beds were what you would expect could’ve been more comfortable

Can tell the hotel is older, there were some holes in the wall paper and walls- the bathroom had a tub instead of wall in shower - stains on one of the pillows and 1 of the beds had hair on it

Suite upgrade was nice.

Its showing its age. I was upgraded to a suite which was great but its an old hotel and the shower caddy had been two sided taped to the wall and it fell twice. Breakfast is now very over priced.

Maximum Comfort

The Marriott is a cut above the other hotels in Ann Arbor in which I recently stayed within the same price category. My room was very quiet - a must for me. Special features which I really appreciated: a worktable on wheels, a user-friendly coffee machine with delicious, above-average coffee packets, an easy to-find button to turn off the refrigerator and drapes that totally block out light. I also like the fact that the elevator is not near the reception area so that space remains open and clear of the typical congestion. That's in addition to an efficient front desk and a great location. Marriott takes extra steps to provide maximum comfort. Why would I stay anywhere else?

It was fine and when I travel to ann arbor it will stay there

Convenience - move in to Michigan

I stayed there a month ago. During this visit the elevator was still malfunctioning leaving guest confused and used stairs. The communication and signs could have been better.

It worked for the one night I stayed. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

My family and I were in town for a track meet at The University of Michigan! This hotel was super close so the location worked for us. My breakfast bowl was unfortunately still frozen when I received it after waiting a very long time. The two ladies working were just the sweetest. They made sure to take it off my room and the front desk attendant even took a little more for the inconvenience. The overall customer service was phenomenal! Maybe consider a new chef that’s not so grumpy!!!

The bed was just terrible. It felt like I was sleeping on the floor. So hard. If I was staying a second night I would have changed hotels. Also the workout/ fitness area was pretty sad.

It was fine just inconvenient

No soap at the sink. I called and they didn’t bring any - they couldn’t find any. So anytime I washed my hands I used the body wash in the shower Also not enough ice machines - very inconvenient to not have on every floor

George at the front desk was very helpful, getting us back into our room after leaving our keys, and sharing area restaurant recommendations . Very nice and clean facility

Solid hotel, slightly dated bathrooms, great staff

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good if you had a car.

Bathrooms dated—handicapped bathroom had a tub which was a major fall risk despite grab rails

We had a great time moving my son into the dorms. This was close by campus and restaurants and stores.

I would not return to this property

The lobby area was clean. The front desk staff and Cafe staff were friendly and accommodating.

The housekeeping staff. I was told my room would be cleaned and returned to the room uncleaned. The rug in the room was filthy and need a deep cleaning. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy and the pillows were too soft. I was uncomfortable for the 3 nights I stayed and would not choose this hotel for future stays.

Probably wouldn't recommend.

The interior of the hotel looked recently renovated - modern, clean. The pool was quite nice, but needs some work on the floors (paint flecks sticking to our feet when we left the pool area). Our room faced a courtyard of plantings and gazebo which was a nice view.

The room was quite damp. We ran the bathroom fan all night and had the AC on, but our towels didn't dry after use and we had to ask for new ones at the desk. I was hoping housekeeping would make up beds while we were gone during the day -not a big deal, we might have had to ask for that. The outside of the hotel needs work! We drove by it at first thinking the building was abandoned /neglected. The landscaping is mostly dry / dead. The signage needs updating. No complimentary coffee in the morning. The breakfast is packaged items for purchase, we went elsewhere for a hot breakfast.

Room was clean and quiet. Location was close to the freeway, easy to find, convenient parking. Starbucks coffee onsite a plus.

No microwave in room had to go all the way downstairs and no ice machine had to go all the way downstairs no free breakfast after paying$200 for one night
