Lovely hotel, great location, and I particularly liked their restaurant, coffee, and muffins in the lobby, but was sad. There was no pool and that the ice machines only seem to be on every other floor but other than that, it was lovely place to stay. We were there during construction of something in front of the hotel so I recommend you go for the Riverside with a view

I booked this hotel for me and my sister-in-laws to celebrate their 50th birthdays. I didn’t request a review, but we did have a little bit of a view of the water. However, we had a great view of construction. And because the hotel hosts a lot of events on weekends, we had the base from the party’s music booming in our bedroom past 10:30 PM, even though we were on the fourth floor. But it was clean and comfortable. Just not with the price I paid.

Oyster point is located right on the water and is very lovely. Although clean with helpful staff, the furnishings are old and tired. Think 1970, with popcorn ceilings,plastic and chrome fixtures and a very noisy room air conditioner. The bed is newer, in an attempt to camouflage the aging carpet that’s fraying and laminate countertop with multiple layers of paint. It’s very pricey for what you get.

We had an amazing view of the water as soon as you opened the door. The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to downtown. Joshua at the front desk was wonderful.
