Clean, convenient, but pricy garage for such narrow car spaces and uncomfortable beds.

The location is a quick two minute drive to South Coast Plaza.

The beds were too firm and the fold out couch too thin a mattress to not feel the frame bars in one's back. The garage price went from $24 last year up to $42 this year per day! This was without fixing the problem of narrow spacing with the car park markings (which cause people to bang their doors in the side of the car next to them). The spacing would be fine if people didn't have wide-body pickups and suburban vehicles.

47 a night for parking was a rip off

They could do a better coffee. Only 2 towels for 3 people. The elevators were very slow, we couldn't find the stairs. They charged us 47 a night for parking so the place is more expensive than it says.

Clean, updated, and base rate for room offered good value. Didn’t have need to park a car there, or use wifi.,so that saved us money. We truly just needed a safe hotel with clean, comfortable room to sleep in and take a shower.

I like the location and it was clean. I needed to get people to the airport early in the morning and it was it worked out.

I’ve stayed in a lot of Marriott across country. This one provided very little. There was no breakfast accommodation unless you paid quite a bit for it when you’re a young family and you’ve got a child you don’t wanna be paying close to $20 for a breakfast. There was no shuttle if need be we got different comments when we asked for water we needed to get towels. We only had two in the room there were three people we needed to get extra coffee so overall I would say it was the mediocre at best as far as amenities staff was fairly friendly.

Be prepared to get ripped off

Stay away from Booking.com and Costa Mesa Marriot. I was double-charged by both Booking.com and the Costa Mesa Marriott. After 8 calls to the Marriott they refuse to do anything about this. Incredibly unfriendly and absolutely unwilling to to the slightest thing to fix this issue. They also list parking as $30 on their garage but charge $40.

Disappointing

The room was Clean and large. No table for dining but a small fridge, they have remodeled rooms with smart tvs now .

The tv kept saying disconnected from internet and we couldn’t use the smart streaming services. The AC is loud and the Plumbing even Louder when someone was using the water next door it literally woke us up from our sleep multiple times plumbing noise was extremely loud.

Best South Coast Plaza Hotel

Practical location, a short walk to South Coast plaza, performing arts center and restaurants/bars. Rooms are big and look new. Nice lake for walks on the back side.
