Comfortable, elegant place with great breakfasts for a few days away.

Breakfast was more and better than I expected, Bed was very comfortable. Huge room--larger than expected or needed. Convenient location for meeting with family.

Bathrooms need upgrading. Bathtub was a little dingy and water is being wasted with the huge volume that comes out. Our room was close to the street, but with a white noise machine, we slept well.

Liked the breakfast, minus the roof leaking in the lobby we had to walk around.

Bugs in room. Ants, spiders, gnats. Complained at checkout to the staff at counter and she said yeah sorry they’re everywhere bc of the heat. No work to try and compensate. I knew this trip I should’ve stuck with my usual place but opted to try this and it failed expectations. Also told her about the shower how it leaks and annoyed me all night both nights. Told her how the plumbing was hooked up wrong so hot is cold and cold is hot. Also got another excuse and no offer to make it right so I will not be back.

I’ve been all over the US and other countries, but this hotel stands out as the worst and aged.

For fumigation of our home , this property is near us being in our city.

This hotel has many buildings. However, we got building #15 that’s adjacent to the 405 freeway. It’s so noisy , and there’s a chicken wire fence between us. It’s so unsafe. The pull out mattress from the sofa is for torture not sleeping. The floor is better because the pullout is springs only. Nothing to do with mattress. Supposedly, our room sleeps 3 people, but the plate setting and chairs are only for 2.

Very spacious Hotel room & very tiny pool

Super spacious & made our week in California easy. Kitchen & microwave was amazing. Location to get on & to beach was super easy. Gas stations & some fast food are convenient also.

The pool , was so tiny & way over crowded No was monitoring the pool , loud music & alot of adults taken all the seats we didn't even get to enjoy the pool. Day 2 & 3 we tried to go before crowded & it was nasty things floating bugs all in pool. No one had even bothered to clean it , day 3 so many people was in the extremely tiny pool we again couldn't use it. Very sad as I booked my stay off a pool being present for my children ro enjoy!

Not what I expected

One extremely small pool for the size of this location was beyond ridiculous. Dog poop smeared on walking path and hallways needed to be watered down dog pee and spills were evidently visible. Room smelled and they could not provide additional blankets etc etc There pictures online of this facility are definitely deceiving.

It was lovely.

We got an upgraded room at 10pm. It was really nice and comfortable. I liked that the kitchen had plates, cups, pots, and pans. The fridge was nice because it made ice! We didn’t have to leave the room. We didn’t need to buy anything for the kitchen except food. My nephew and I really enjoyed the pool. It wasn’t too deep. There were clean towels available in the area. I really liked the hot tub. It was quiet. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Disappointing Customer Service

Unfortunately this hotel called us hours before check-in while we were driving from Phoenix to LA area to tell us that our room for the next 5 nights was cancelled because the previous guest & their pet destroyed the room and it was not fit for us to stay in. The manager said the hotel was completely sold out, and that the sister hotel next door was also sold out. So they arranged us a room at their Anaheim location, which was about 20 miles away in a location we didn't want to stay (also about 20 minutes further from the beach). Other than free parking, they did not offer any kind of discount or reimbursement for the trouble, which was extremely disappointing. While I understand things happen, I'll be wary of booking with another Sonesta hotel in the future.

Location: Our suite was too close to a busy freeway and we heard cars driving by all night Cleanliness: found pet fur all over bed sheets when we checked in; Ants, fruit flies, and a June bug found in the rooms. Smell: cigarette smokers often smoked in the parking lot and grassy area near suite Hospitality: after checking out, Sonesta charged me for something I didn’t purchase

Don’t stay there.

The room gave off a terrible smell. Curtains had an odor. The towels smelled too. When needing an extra item since room wasn’t cleaned everyday. They had none in the reception station. Had maintenance do it. Their excuse was they had lots of customers. But this is the summer and I thought you would always be well supplied even if not super busy. They did apologize and during one of our days there they offered to clean the room at no extra charge one time. I have never seen a hotel ran so badly. Very poor management. You pay big bucks and their priority should be service your customer. One night never got any supplies for our room. I would not stay there again. It was pretty bad.

Honestly, there was not anything positive I could say about this hotel.

We walked into the first room we were given and the smell of cigarette smoke was a 10. I called front desk and was told this was a no-smoking property, but that they would switch rooms. Next room was in the back and you could hear freeway traffic but no smell. The bedding had blood stains on the comforter. The bathroom was very musty and needed to be cleaned better. We made the best of it because at this point, we had prepaid and we’re not getting a refund. Hotel then proceeded to charge my credit card the entire amount that was already prepaid and I had to call them. Will never stay here again. Many “long term” residents live here and not our type of hotel.

A great comfortable stay

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms TV's in both bedrooms and living room. Beds were super comfortable! Breakfast included was a lot better than we were expecting. We will definitely stay there again.

The room was extremely dirty and smelled of urine. We checked out almost immediately. There were rips in the bedding, furniture and carpet. Crumbs on the fridge and stains on the mattress and pads. Gross!!!!

I’ll never stay here again.

The grill area was nice as well as the stove and the utensils they have in the room.

The room was old and smelled like cats and a litter box. The door had a crack and it wasn’t properly sealed so our room was so cold all the time. Breakfast was not great. It’s like they filled everything just the one time and when it was gone it was gone so many days we just had to have cereal.

Quiet and comfy stay for us and our fur baby.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations; full array of cold and hot items to choose from, all organized in a clean and welcoming manner.

There could be more brighter light on the ground floor outdoor hallways of each building. We arrived around 7:30pm and the exterior lights were not on yet. Later in the evening when the exterior lights came on, it still seemed too dark in those hallways.

Our room was right next to a basketball court and the hotel was full of youth baseball players and their families. To access the rooms, there was an echo chamber, not the hotels fault, just inconsiderate people talking/arguing in there.
