Spacious and comfortable responsive staff on site for issues, nice pool and hot tub
The bathrooms were all upstairs, which would be a problem for people who have trouble with doing stairs
I would not stay in one of the units close to the road again as it was quite noisy with traffic

Jenny the manager was excellent and kindly put on a Thanksgiving lunch for all the people staying there. So kind and considerate.
The pools were nice, the balconies big with good space for outdoor eating. The beds were super comfortable.
Staff very accommodating. Parking was included which is such a bonus in Key West as very expensive and hard to find. We would leave the car and get an Uber into town.
No bar but there was an area in reception where people could meet and make coffee.

It was quiet… not vacation friendly list of vacation chores was not pleasant.
It was quiet and not as busy… I suppose now I understand why. Was pleased they had smoking areas as some family members do smoke.
The “sunny pool” floor was cracking on the far corner my child actually had a minor cut on the bottom of their foot. The amount of chores that were expected and enforced as threatened to not refund the deposit was ridiculous at checkout day. I had stayed at coconut Mallory approximately 10 yrs ago and was excited to return but my experience was not as pleasant as before. I felt bad because I had more family book an additional room and we immediately regretted our decision. I regret to say that when I do return to Key West I will not be looking at coconut Mallory to book a stay. It’s best to book elsewhere where you could actually feel like you are on vacation instead of thinking and stressing about checkout chores. Also Booking something closer to old town where the attractions are is smarter as parking costed a lot. Wishing Kees vacations the best.

Since it’s a rental with kitchens, having some condiments like salt, pepper, ketchup, mayo packets would have been nice. Few are there long enough to warrant buying them but most do eat at in the room some of the time.

The unit was clean and spacious. Bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Beds were comfortable and windows had blackout curtains but there was still light bleeding due to no blinds. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Laundry appliances were close and easy to use but was only coin operated.
Our unit was the closest to the street. Sounds from the street or parking lot were very loud. The other thing is we weren't expecting to clean the place before checking out. Maybe that should be included in the notes or description to the place. We didn't mind minor cleaning and pulling sheets off the beds but would have appreciated the notice before booking.

Nothing. I’ve been 3 times in the last 5 years, and each time it’s progressively gotten worse.
Arrived at 9pm to find our 1st room FULL of German cockroaches (at least 50-60). Took 3 hours to get ahold of staff for a room change. While changing rooms at midnight, i had forgot a brand new pair of shoes in the old room. Shoes were left at front door. By the time i could get the staff to let back in the following day, my shoes were missing. The only people in the room after me were staff, yet no one can tell me where they went.

My husband and I stayed at Coconut Mallory Resort and Marina at the end of May. I found that the wifi was difficult at times to connect to and the TV/cable would lose sound. We didn't bother mentioning it to the front desk, b/c we were on vacation and disconnecting. Also, there were a few cockroaches that we had to get rid of each day that we stayed there, but as a Floridian and being on an island that happens. The day before we're leaving (in the afternoon) there was a knock on our door and a man said "maintenance" and opened the door to our room with his key. My husband and I were in the bedroom and my husband went out into the living area as the man was entering our room and started moving the curtain. My husband told him to leave and he said he wanted to get something, but my husband told him to leave the room. Btw, we were never informed that "maintenance" would be coming by and for what reason. We went out that same day around 6PM and when we walked by the room next to us, we saw a can of "roach bomb" inside the front door. When we came back that night at midnight, we walked into dead cockroaches all around the room and on the night stand. After the extermination from the room next us. I wanted to leave and find another hotel to stay in because we were obviously disgusted, but it was late at night and we were checking out the next morning. My husband removed all of the dead cockroaches himself. How do we know what we inhaled and what medical issues it may cause? It's incredibly disappointing because we had stayed there twice when we first met 8 yrs ago and there were issues that were shady back then, but nothing like this. The person(s) who decided that it was fine to spray the room next to our room, (most likely knowing that the dead cockroaches would be dispersed all over the floor) should be fired! We were checking out the next AM. We emailed the Mgmt Company about this and never heard back.

I stayed in a bungalow and it was very clean, bed was comfortable. The pool was sparkling and the surrounding area was very clean. Pool toys were provided. The resort was quiet and I feel I received good value for the charges,
I liked everything. I am looking forward to my next stay at Coconut Mallory. the tropical lanscaping and mature trees are a welcome respite from the bright sun,

our room was at the entrance at the property, we heard all the traffic and ambulances all day and night…

Great location, private feeling property!
We loved the pool area, lots of seating options, it was very clean and close to many of the rooms! The pool was seen from our balcony as well. The condos were larger than we expected, easy to park and hop on the elevators! These condos weren't too far from everything. We MAINLY loved how the property felt private and was on a coast line!
My main concern was the mattress protectors, when I took the sheets off our bed to help housekeeping, I was shocked to find the mattress covers were covered in human hair of all kinds and colors and lots of it!! Some stains on the matress covers as well. A bit disappointing considering how much we enjoyed the property and the overall stay!

resort feel without the high price
stayed in a studio. it was perfect for the 2 of us. the bar on the water is what sold us the place and it was exactly our kind of place. cold beers and all the bar games
the bathroom was not the greatest. the vanity was too small and the door was in the way and had to be propped open. could use a full length mirror in the room

Place is very nice
The ownership was very rude because we parked our boat in a area they didn't like, they never gave us a slip number so we pulled up and the bar tender said i would put it here, so we did. We then get a call from jenni at 9 pm on the way to dinner after traveling all day, and she demanded us to move the boat or she will have our boat towed. She was very rude. Then our guys packed up there stuff Saturday before we left for our fishing day. I have check out date of Sunday at 10 am. They went in our room and took everything out. went in my underwear drawer and took them as long as my wife medicine. i then went and got my fishing poles and stuff. They didn't tell me about my wife medicine and underwear and 3,000.00 dollars i went back to room and found out that was gone and went right back to office they had it in a safe and they put it in a box and duct taped the box with duct tape where it took me 10 minutes to open. I then stayed the night Saturday night and was getting dressed in the living room at 9am and a maid walked in with no knock and unlocked the door and saw me in my boxers. I feel it was very unprofessional to go in our room Saturday when we left and Sunday before my check out time. The dock master also threatened us with his attorneys and would have us towed also. I feel i deserve a complete refund, i have never been treated this way at a hotel in my life it might of had something to do with our boat that sayS LETS GO BRANDON I will never stay here again
