The Mexican receptionist assaulted my husband, my son, and me. She insulted us and made it the worst day of our lives. T

There is NOTHING I liked about this place, the service is horrible.

The reception service was the most awful, unpleasant, and horrible I've ever experienced. A receptionist who appeared to be Mexican insulted us and tried to steal our money. I was with my husband and baby, and she assaulted us. NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE. I will be filing a complaint against this establishment for the assault we suffered.

We had to pay for parking then we got back from the concert. There was no parking. We could hear all of the traffic and people yelling outside. I did not feel safe.

Friendly staff, great location if you're attending an event in the neighborhood, surprisingly quiet!

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I was attending a concert at an auditorium across the street, so the location was ideal and only $15 extra for parking is a good deal in that area. I was concerned about noise with it being on a busy street, and during the day there were traffic and construction noises. I was pleasantly surprised that the property was extremely quiet at night - no more street noises or noises from other guests, etc... I noticed other reviews expressed concerns over safety. I walked back to the hotel alone pretty late at night after the show and didn't encounter anything sketchy or concerning, but that may depend on how comfortable you are in urban areas. There are some bars in the area, including a really fun gay bar, so you will see patrons of all kinds on their way to and fro.

Parts of the lobby look a little worn/dingy and the breakfast could offer a few more options. There is cold cereal but only whole milk which is hard for lactose intolerant folks. Most properties in their price range don't offer breakfast though, so glad there was at least a few things to grab (fruit, muffin, yogurt, tea/coffee) on my way out the door in the morning.

Breakfast was just okay. Staff was super friendly. Nightlife and eateries within walking distance.

Nightlife was particularly noisy on the night we were there. Clubs and concerts just across the street. We were charged $15 for parking. Guess it’s in fine print. I’m sure parking in that area was all at a cost.

Everything. Staff was rude, very ghetto, felt unsafe, room was nasty, room was right next to a bar and was very loud, people next door were smoking pot, they also had 4 kids running up and down the walk way. We ended up leaving 10 or 15 minutes after checking in. Contacted the owner and he was extremely rude in email and on the phone. Do not recommend anyone to stay here EVER!

I saw the location and went elsewhere.

This property is right on skid row. When I arrived the police were collecting someone across the street. Most of the parking is not on the hotel grounds. This listing should come with a warning about the location.

Great proximity to location of interest.. Accommodating staff.

Staff was accommodating with holding bags. Housekeeping ensured we had access to daily room servicing if we wanted it and provided fresh towels daily. Location was walking distance to venue. Location was easy to access city transit system. Manager allowed for extended stay for a friend at the rate paid.

I have never stayed at a days Inn or a motel. I wasn't aware we were overpaying until my roommate made me aware the room is valued at about $75 a night instead of what I paid... The first night was very loud, outside, in the parking lot. We found it very difficult to sleep.

Nothing was good.

The staff was unhelpful. The elevator wasn’t working but the staff wouldn’t acknowledge it, they just kept saying that the maids were using it in the basement. A guest was the one that told us that it had been down there all day. And the elevator is literally within view of the front desk so it’s not like they wouldn’t have noticed. The cost did not reflect the accommodations. There was no lobby to speak of, no public restroom available. Wyndham charges you for early check-in but to not have a secure area for luggage and no public restroom is ridiculous. We asked to check our luggage and it was put in the storage closet behind the counter. When we returned the door was open and we could see our luggage from the entrance. It is not a good neighborhood, lots of homeless and as 2 women we did not feel comfortable walking around the area. This meant that we took more Ubers, adding to the cost of the trip. There was also a lot of construction. There were scratching noises from the walls several times. We literally did not feel comfortable showering because we had bad vibes in the room. We loved Denver but the hotel added nothing to it.

Overall, I appreciate that this hotel was clean, safe, and quiet. It’s in the heart of downtown Denver with great access to the city, including walking distance to most bars, especially within the LGBTQ plus community.

The only thing it’s that you have to pay for parking, but that’s because parking is very limited in this part of the city so while I didn’t love that I had to pay for parking, I understand.

The location is great, clean & spacious rooms

door key card stopped working on multiple occasions during the stay. The last time at 2A.M. and I had to pee so bad and ended up having to go back downstairs to have them reprogram my key card while I was in agony hoping I did not pee myself in the lobby. That was rather inconvenient. Only other negative was the coffee provided in the room tastes awful. The coffee provided at Breakfast was great. I have stayed at Days inn on Colfax many times over the last 5 years and I have never had a major issue. It is always a good time staying there

management avoided talking to me when I expressed that someone had broken into my room on my first night there, they said they “call the police“ but I saw no such thing happen and they just swapped out my room where I had to stop by the front desk every day for them to reactivate my key card. Every time I ask for the manager, they said he was not in. This was something I would never recommend.

The room was a lot nicer than indicated by the outside of the hotel. The location is convenient but a little dodgy. Overall it was a good deal, just not as nice as I would have liked.

Paid parking, which is annoying. Lots of drywall work in the lobby without covering all the food and beverage appliances. Smelled of industrial cleaner outside and in the lobby. Not enough lighting in the room.

The staff were respectful and east to communicate with. The interior of the room was kept up well enough as well.

location is in a shoddy side of town that happened to have a punk-metal performance across the street at the time of my arrival. So as expected there was a party going on and the area also had some homeless making loud noise in the morning hours.

All in all good and worth the price

Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. The breakfast is not particularly fancy, but it's definitely worth the price. The area doesn't look particularly safe, but it's not the hotel's fault. Actually I appreciated that they let some people in need having breakfast for free in the morning.

Overpriced. Dried cum stained all over the room that is almost 300 dollars per night.

Nothing went well. The only good thing is my key card to my room didn't have any issues. Thats it. Refer to my negative comments that I will definitely post of google.

Horrible experience. Overpriced. There are dried cum stains on the bedside table and floor and counter by the sink. The location is too far away from central downtown and price is more than the high end hotels like Sheraton. Walls are thin and plenty of loud drunk people. I paid almost 300 dollars for this room and breakfast area is very small and not well maintained. I will never book this place again.

Rude staff, the room smelled terrible and when we tried to check out a day earlier they wouldn’t let us. The woman working the stand was especially annoying towards us. Didn’t smile, didn’t help or anything. I didn’t feel welcome here at all. Ended up leaving a day early and booking another hotel. Whilst still having to pay for the reaming days
