Great travel motel when visiting Willits

The facilities were normal for a travel motel. What was exceptional were the neatness of the layout and the cleanliness. I liked that there was a Burger King within walking distance (I walked up to the drive window and was welcomed). There was also a large field nearby, which was perfect for walking my dog.

First. The red sign. Lark motel easy to remember. No stairs to deal with. A nostalgia roadside motel from the 60s. Refurbished and very clean. The price was incredible. Half what the big guys charge. Not paying for a pool no one uses. Love the shower, no tub to deal with. Hair dryer on the wall. Friendly place.

Need hook to hang towels in bath. Bed spread was new, but not my style. We were not charged $100 cash fee, but ad stated it. Not sure what that was about.

Really impressed with unit

The room looked like it had recently been decorated/renovated, no scuffs, dinks or chips The shower room was spacious with wide counter top so both hubby and my stuff could spread out. The shower was good with good water pressure. Really impressed with the unit. There’s a laundromat opposite, Burger King next door, McD a couple of minutes walk and a Mexican restaurant 3 doors up.

Didn’t find the ice machine till the last evening, the vending machine appeared unplugged.

The first night good. The second night she wanted to charge $100 cash after i paid for room on bookings.com so we canceled because i didnt have the cash. I was never refunded my money. I tried every avenue to get my money back without success. I slept in 26° weather outside because if this.

Exceptional

I like the owner, we know her brother from another motel we stay at in Ukiah. The room we stayed in here was very clean it had a table with two chairs. It's nice to have when you need space for work and or eating. Also has microwave and icebox.

Poor Customer Service

The location and the size of the room.

LThe fact that housekeeping could have done a bit better job at cleaning the air filter of the air conditioner. And when I checked out, i was rushed out the door for fear of being charged another day. I also requested a room with two beds and had to remind them of it a second time.

Ants, lousy Wifi, rude staff & wake up all n IU ght to horrible noise from heater. Dont stay here

Not much

Wifi was horrible (kicked me out of a meeting twice). Ants everywhere. Heating unit made a terrrible noise which woke me up all night. Staff is extremely rude & unhelpful. Do yourself a favor & stay somewhere else.

Very poor

Locks on windows didn't lock so they had skinny dowels in place but didn't feel secure. The TV and fridge didn't work and the worst part was the chemicals they use to clean the room. The smell was very strong. I ended up in the ER the next day with an asthma attack because of the irritants..I understand it's time of covid but that is not acceptable.

The location is good. The staff actually is trying with a run down property.

Had to change rooms heater stopped working in the middle of the night. Dirty overall appearance.
