Location was very far from where my son was playing hockey, and I did not like the front desk staff.

Breakfast was good after I was finally able to get it. I paid for the service but was originally denied by the front desk. I had to pull my original booking to prove that I paid for the breakfast.

There was an ant or some bug in my bed and I got eaten alive while I was there. I asked them to change my bedding but my bedding was never changed for my 3 day stay.

Does the job for an overnight stay if traveling through

The front desk clerks were very friendly and helped with a speedy check-in. The location was very convenient as I was traveling back home and wanted somewhere close to the I-40. The hotel and room looks like it was recently remodeled with new furniture, which was nice.

My room A/C unit fan would not turn off with the thermostat, so it ran all night no matter what the temperature was set to. The bathroom in my king bed room was disappointing as the shower had no hot water, but the bathroom sink did. I called the front desk and she explained it was due to the storm (I stayed the night before it was supposed to arrive, so no storms in the area), and offered to email maintenance as it was after 10:00PM. I declined due to the time and I was tired from driving all day. Back to the bathroom, it was cramped between opening or closing the shower door or bathroom door, the door barely cleared the toilet when you closed it, and the paint was chipping/peeling off the bathroom doorway, and the sink faucet fixture was loose. Not the presentation I expect from a Hilton brand hotel. And no, I did not pay extra for breakfast.

Other than elevator safety, the hotel was exactly what you would expect under $70.

Our room was quiet. The price was affordable. The beds were fine. Nothing to rave about, but they weren't uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly.

The elevators need serious work. One was barely crawling. The other slammed shut on guests while we were there. Vacuuming in the room could have been more thorough.

The breakfast they wanted me to pay an EXTRA 10) for no thanx not after finding out dining was “closed for the holidays” even tho it wasn’t a holiday!!!!!

The heated pool was not heated and the temperature in the room was below freezing…our room had no hot water for showers..the bed was dirty and there was trash everywhere in our room

you might need to rethink the arrangement on how to pay for breakfast

The breakfast was a good breakfast, but strange in how it was arranged I didn't like the girl putting a pay book on my table it was so confusing and stressful it ended up we charged it to our room the girl came back to our table so many times to assure us she was getting our tab ready as something was wrong with the computer and we needed to leave. Nice people, but too much watching and hovering over us going on as if we were going to steal something. The girl had to explain to everyone there how the pay setup worked. I like the free breakfast buffet where you can just get your breakfast and leave the hotel.

When I booked my reservations I ask for a King room on the ground floor when I arrived they only had a king room on the second floor so I told the girl I really need the ground floor she had to put me in a room with double beds on the ground floor there were no kings left it had a pod coffee machine with only 1 coffee pod and the rest was tea pods also the toilet was not in arms reach to the toilet paper we had to stretch to far to get it and the bathroom door almost hit the toilet I think the toilet was placed in the wrong place

Small bath for a king room & needed cleaned, pillows too small.

The King room was spacious in the bed part but too tight in the bathroom.

The bathroom was so small that you could not open the shower door without closing the bath door. The shower stall needed updated and cleaned, there was black ? all around the outside shower enclosure. The bathroom floor needed swept and cleaned. The pillows on the king bed were a small square and the bed mattress uncomfortable. I had to remake the bed sheets that were on the bed.

Bed broke

It was pretty inside.

The bed collapsed when my son was lying on it, and his head hit the headboard. (No, he's not 500 lbs; he's 13.) We had to move rooms late. The website said breakfast was provided but didn't say you had to pay for it, which was misleading. Pillows and beds were definitely not what we expected from a Hilton. They were not that comfortable at all.

Staff was rude to guests. We had issues with items in the room, maintenance came and said they'd return. We never saw them again. They left a mess on the countertop. When I asked the desk clerk for assistance, she just said sorry. We were never able to resolve our issue. Wifi was not working correctly either.

The staff was very unhelpful, it stunk, the amenities were completely empty, and the breakfast they wanted $30 for 2 adults and one child. It was my worst Hilton experience at a chain I normally enjoy.

I won’t be returning to this hotel. We always use Hilton Gardens when we travel. Won’t in Amarillo.
