Everything went well. We booked this room less than 24 hours before we came to Shirlington and everything went according to plan. We booked it because of its proximity to Signature Theater.
The Window sun-blocking blind in room 606 did NOT go all the way down, so it got too light first thing in the morning.

Nice location in Shirlington Village with lots of food options, a CVS and a grocery store within walking distance.
Wish parking was free and not $27 a night.

The room was big, everything was clean and smelled clean. It was quiet
A hot tub was advertised, but there was no hot tub. Something about the air conditioning completely dried out my throat, mouth, nose, and sinuses. I don’t have allergies but I would cough constantly in the room. When I wasn’t in the room, no coughing. The bed was also not very comfortable so I didn’t sleep well. The fire alarm went off one day because the kitchen burned something, that was really annoying considering most of the guests in the hotel had ran a marathon that day. Walking down 6 flights of stairs after running a marathon is awful. Also parking. There are no parking options around and you still have to pay to park at the hotel. $22 a day is ridiculous, especially when your only option is across the street and four floors up
