This was our 9th stay here, so I think it's safe to say we LOVE it!! The owner, Margaret, is truly the"hostess" with the "mostest"! She goes above and beyond making sure everything is perfect! You are treated like family here! They have two gas grills on property which are great for making dinner. There is plenty of seating on the grounds also! There is a Publix grocery store in walking distance! The beach is an easy 5-10 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The Inn is about 30-40 minutes from the airport. We use UBER & don't bother renting a car since we are walkers, & the area is very walkable. The Inn is actually in Lauderdale by the Sea, (which is next to Ft. Lauderdale) what a great little town! We have another trip on the books!

Breakaway Inn is a fabulous guest house in a perfect setting and so close to everything. Margaret is very friendly and helpful and knows so much about the local area
We had an issue with the shower but it was dealt with promptly.
Personally, I wish I could have accessed the pool earlier. I swim daily and as it didn’t open until 09.00, we would already be out and therefore missed swimming in the morning

Margaret and her husband were fantastic. Location is amazing so close to the beach And all the shops and restaurants.
Chairs were available as were beach towels. You have everything you need for a short or a long-term stay . The landscaping is lovely and we enjoyed the cats . Beds were actually very comfortable. A wonderful value for a getaway trip to recharge our batteries
