The facility is either rather rundown, or has had some damage possibly when the hurricane went through this general area recently. Nothing serious, but there were some incomplete patches missing tiles that sort of thing primarily in the bathroom appears to be clean enough though.

Location

Many lightbulbs were burned out. Asked for them to be replaced numerous times No working smoke detector, replaced batteries and unit still didn’t work. Offered new room but it was a pain to move as we both had back issues and were in a Handicapped room. Just disappointed overall , no maintenance worker there Sunday.

I liked the size of the hotel and the room.

I did not like the customer service provided at the front desk during the end of my stay. The representative did not seem to listen to understand my concerns, instead she listened only to reply.

Quiet, it was like we were there alone. But there were lots guests. Had pool to ourselves the two times we went. Clean room. Nice towels and had doce products which were nice.

We arrived at 4 pm. Went to room found maintenance watching tv with shower running. Asked what he was fixing. He only replied they were supposed to let me know you were here. He scrambled shut off shower. Wiped floor and left. We paid for breakfast in booking but couldn’t prove it so we didn’t get breakfast which disappointed the kids. We asked for towels they said they would bring some. Left for day. Arrived back. Housekeeping had been in room - tv was shut off. But wet towels left behind. No trash removed. And no new towels. So why bother coming into the room.

Perfect stay every time!

I can’t say enough good things about HolidayInn Louisville East Hurstbourne by IGA. We stay every year when we attend the truck show. Rooms are always clean, smell good, and suitable for us . The staff is amazing! One highlight is we don’t have to leave to go eat a good, classy meal. You don’t have to drink to get a good meal . The bar and kitchen is open until 10pm. We almost always eat breakfast and dinner there. The bartender and waitress Jacqueline goes above and beyond . Elevators are always in working order. I can’t find one negative thing to say about the facility or the employees.

Called half an hour before check in and said they over booked. They had a smaller room we could have. No free breakfast as it was stated on website. Rude clerks said no free breakfast because booked though third party site. Asked for receipt was told no because of booking though third party site. TV was turned off on morning off check out by 8 am. Check out was 11 am. Worst hotel ever. Will never go back.
